Just one of those games where two teams meet and are content to sink to the lowest common denominator and have a good old-fashioned game of pond hockey.

I generally associate this occurrance with Leafs games. Not a joke.

That was a suicide pass - Fro would have had his clock-cleaned if it was a Neil, Fisher or Ruutu.

JJ is still learning on the job, and Murray is giving him plenty of overtime.

Just finished watching the game on the DVR, hooray!

I don't have any analysis or anything, it's almost 1 am here and I need to be asleep a while ago.

This

Fro was hung out to dry on that pass. Love how FSN zeroed in on him after the goal like it was his fault.

not only that, but if Cheechoo catches Fro squarely, he goes down and doesn't quite whip the fumble like that. Cheech made a great read on a bad play by Johnson and got just enough of Frolov to make him cough.

lakingsnews.com brings you a very shinny post game article

Winning is fun.

The Kings are winning.

I'm having fun.

I learned a new word tonight - "shinny". Justin Williams referred to the Kings play as such even though they had the lead. What does it mean? In short, a little sloppy and loose. It's a cross between serious and ******. I like it. I will find uses for it.

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know, that if the Kings will continue with similar points per game ratio (1,24), they will end up with 101 points at the end of the season. It's unlikely, but why not

Also something else I forgot to add was wow our 5on3 PP is soo soo bad honestly we are better 5on4 which is almost just as bad.....

I didn't know you cared.

Mrs. Zad had a girl's night out with her friends so I was Mr. Mom tonight. Even at 2, my little girl is into the hockey games but there is no way I can stop to actually post.

Right now, she is asleep right next to me on the couch...Mrs. Zad won't be happy about that when she gets home, but I tell her that when I have the little one for the night, we do things differently and rebel against all of mom's rules.

Just got back from the game... that 3rd period was the sloppiest play I've seen from two teams all season, yet the Kings still managed to score twice. Quick kept them in it when it mattered the most.

Simmonds and Doughty had excellent, excellent games. Doughty is just a pure joy to watch.

7 games over .500!

I...yeah. We have to have the worse 5-on-3 in the league. We're generating momentum for our opponents...

I saw that waldo POS at the game. My buddy and I laughed at him.

We also laughed at the drunk guy in front of us who was terrorizing the poor 6 year old girl next to him the whole game.

During the "SENATORS SUCK" chant, I decided to yell "CANADA SUCKS" instead. The drunk guy tried to catch on, but instead barely stuttered out "CANATORS SUCK"

We laughed some more.

Wow, did I really just see a physically hard hitting, none **** taking team!?!?! Did I see Stoll, Richardson, Jack, Simmonds playing with some ****in BALLS?? I DID, I DID JUST SEE THAT.

Wow, this team actually might be a good hockey team, LOVE IT!!!

BTW, Icyfur will probably discuss this but Volchenkov is amazing. . I'd do anything to get him on this team (well, almost everything)

You really don't know what shinny means, Zad? It's just another word for pick-up/pond hockey.

That dirty Ruskie is pretty damn good. I was clamoring for a physical duel between him and JJ. See who is stronger.

JJ was a beast tonight, who did he take into the boards in the 3rd? was that Fisher? He and Jack we're battling all night. Great game by both of those guys.

Am I the only one that thinks that the outcome might of been different if Chris Neil was in play for the Sens?

He is a joy to watch play when he's on his game, which seems to be most of the time now. He looks like he's having a blast out there too. I love the huge smile he gets every time he scores a goal. It's like "I'm good, I'm really really good!" I can only imagine what it's like to be 20 years old and be a dominant d-man in the NHL.
