Laviolette is the new Messiah. Anyone care to doctor a photo of him as Jesus. Even though I hate religion, I would be all for that.

Oh man. Can't say I'm surprised. A little disappointed maybe (bring on the quoting of this post and people calling me stupid). Who's gonna be the head coach now? Mullen?

Nevermind, I read the other posts.

Hubby and I spoke about this. I can NOT imagine Snider/Homer would hire him unless it was clearly stipulated that he had to abandon that mindset of "not fighting".

If this is true about Laviolette, it just seems like such a knee-jerk reaction. Hope he can get something out of this group...he's jumping right into the mix.

And if Laviolette sucks as usual, as a canuck fan: ha! suckers!

This is good to see as the Flyers are my eastern team.

I'd rather they go with an interim and go through the proper process of hiring a coach, which is what they should have done with Stevens.

It will be highly ironic if we still suck after Stevens goes.

A growing part of me actually believes it is our young guys who are the problem, and I question whether or not they'll be able to be straightened out.

Regards,
Rick

Agreed. No way they let 'no fighting' coaching fly.
