Easton Stealth S7

I am looking for a new pair of pants and am having trouble sorting through all the brands and models on the market.

I have narrowed my search down to Easton stealth mostly because the selection at the LHS is pretty slim. The S1 and S7 seem to fit well.

My question is the Easton Stealth S7 too much pant for adult rec hockey? I feel like the S1 is just a little to basic and does not have enough padding. I have not been able to find any middle ground. The S1 is $49 buck and the S7 is on clearance for $69.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Thanks

if the s7 seem good, go for them. 20 bucks is not too much and those pants are most likely fine for what you need them for.

No such thing as too much pant. Whatever you're comfortable in is best, and even in adult leagues you fall on your ass, crash into nets or the boards. Pants protection is just a nice thing to have, and keeps you comfortable the next day.

And most all modern top end pants still have great mobility.

Well said, my pants aren't the lightest but I never worry about slamming hard into the boards, falling hard on my tush or blocking a shot with them.
