I don't think we'll hear anything until he's back. We'll ge an occasional "he's doing fine' comment, but until whatever is resolved that caused him to leave is fixed....we won't hear detailed updates.
Good and bad. Good, because we're not ready to compete now, and hes up for a contract, and this drives his price down.
Friedman has taught us both well. I was thinking of his contract status a few days ago about how he will have to sign a "prove it" contract. Posted via Mobile Device

Haha, exactly. You start finding value in every bad situation.
There is no meat behind this, as in a tip from the team or anyone involved or anything but my suspicion has long been that Ranger is done in Tampa, for whatever reason.
If something happened that was so important for him to tend to and it wasn't a family death or illness - if it were, at least a few of us would have heard about that, as there's no need to keep that under such tight wraps - how can you justify being away from the team for this long?
This has been a bizarre situation from the beginning and I just can't see him coming back here.
I do, of course, continue to wish him all the best.

I don't follow the Bucs that closely, but the Aaron Sears situation was kept under tight wraps as well and he's now back with them after being away for a few months.

True. (Not a Buc guy either.)
I just don't understand the mystery of it all (unless it's something really embarrassing - and I'm not going there because I refuse to speculate on a personal matter).
Because we don't know (and, truly, nobody does) it really could be anything.
I'm just pissed off. If it's really because he's through in TB, we deserve to know and if not, get him back asap because I'm gonna end up going Jeff Galooley on LK if he keeps playing.
Ranger sure would be an upgrade over Foster or especially Krajicek right now. I could defend Krajicek at times last season but this season hes just been terrible. Please just waive Krajicek.
Whatever Ranger is going through, I think it would be for the best if we all just forgot about him, until its announced hes going to return. Which honestly at this point might not happen till after x-mas, if at all.
