How come some are given chances even if they had an atrocious season's start - Pacioretty & A.K - while others have none - Latendresse & Chipchura ?

Latendresse had to bust his ass and impress. AK went on the 4th line and earned the top 6 again, Latendresse didn't do ****. He had to be traded because he would never have changed his brat attitude with Montreal. Apparently he's doing well for the Wild, good for him.

It's the chicken an egg dilema. With more ice time with proper players, he would have produced.

Martin and Gainey did not like him. Gainey gave him a one-year contract (like they have done with Ryder for years), and Martin was not giving him ice time to build up his confidence.

+ He was possibly having too much limelight in the media because of his name and his girlfriend's entourage.

NESN has just verified that Tim Thomas has yet again contracted Timmy Thomas disease...he is no longer a bargain at 5M...

Is he scoring more ? Will he have 16 goals at the end of this year ?

Every line, anyway should have ONE player going to the front of the net at all time. Not always the same to do that work.

Um yes. I think the point was to win the game, not give 2 points to a rival. If they won all you would hear is how great it is that the Bruins spoiled the Habs Centennial game.

Markov skated with the team yesterday. I wonder how much that contributed to the boost of the team last night. I'm sure it was huge.

Watching the vets' skating before the game, I would say, Lemieux, Desjardins and Richer could still lace them up ! And Nilan has that scary look still !

Good luck with Boston tomorrow they'll likely come out strong now. hehe.
Hey thanks. And I agree, they will come out with a vengence tonight. Montreal could have had a little more mercy on them so they wouldn't be so wound up for tonight. lol Toronto/Montreal are great rivals and we have alot of fun with that....but, Boston is another story.....you see, no matter what, Toronto/Montreal share one GREAT thing....we ARE Canadian. And everyone in the world knows that the greatest hockey players come from the "O" and the "Q". Case closed.

WOW what a great effort last night, is this the same team we saw the last 2 games? Definitely not. Price was a monster on the pk's wow he made some huge saves last night he just played unreal, and Gill and Gorges were shot blocking maniacs. Also Cammalleri was just awesome, man that shot is unreal. Hope they can carry this on!

More of this type of play please. Man if this team could play like this most of the time we would be fighting for first in the division at the very least. Come on Habs keep it up!!

The churlish Bruins fans give no credit to le Canadien. It was the officiating, the late start, their own letdown, etc. How about the brilliance of Price and Cammalleri, the aggressive forechecking of Pacioretty and others, the superb penalty killing? Some of them even made fun of the greats who were brought back for the occasion. Instead of talking about Butch Bouchard they bring up how Stan Jonathan beat up Pierre Bouchard. How do I picture them? Running down Boylston Street, naked except for their jock straps and Bruins hats, their pot bellies jutting 3 inches ahead of their noses, and leaving behind a trail of empty beer cans.

A reasonably accurate picture, except that some of them don't have pot bellies and some of them don't wear jock straps and some of them look for cigarette butts that are still smokable.

**** Bruins Fans. They're not worth the effort getting into an argument. Still, it was a great 15-20 min sipping my cup of coffee while reading their GDT of last night
