Ahh, breath of fresh air.

C'mon Flyers! Win for your new coach unless you want him fired too.

People not expecting immediate results, I agree for the next 5 games. But tonight I 100% expect to see one of the best Flyer games in the last 3 years, I am expecting to see complete domination, and it will happen !!!

GO FLYERS !!!!!!

Tonight it begins !

do you mean there is a chance that jvr and giroux willa ctaulyl play more than pyro? say it aint so. flyers are already better if that is the case.

Stevens had Pyorala on the bottom lines, the only major change here is Richards and Carter switching lines, and Carter playing RW.

Switch Briere and Carter and I'm thrilled to death. But you never know, maybe JVR-Giroux-Carter will work well.

no he didnt, pyro was playing in the top 6. he had pyro getting more minutes than jvr or giroux which is inexcusable.

Betts better slide back between Carcillo and Lappy.

Gags, I'm pretty curious about.

Pyorala may have been getting among the the top 6 most minutes amongst forwards recently...but there's not really a whole lot of pinpointing to do of what line he or anyway else has been on recently. I know injuries have played a role, but it's comical if you really look at our recent line combos. I just looked up our forward line combos over the last 10 games and it's so hilarious. The list is a ****ing mile long, and the most frequency at which any single line was used was 6.73%.

I just got a message from an inside source, and these are the line combinations that Laviolette had in practice, and likely for the game. It also said that Lappy seems to have had some trouble with his whole mouth thing, and that's why he's on the 4th line instead of the 3rd.

JVR-Giroux-Carter
Hartnell-Richards-Briere
Carcillo-Pyorala-Asham
Kalinski-Laperriere-Nodl

I'm sure the team got the message. I expect nothing but an *** whoopin' on the Capitals. Like a 15-0 win....ok maybe that's a little too much. I'll settle for 11-0, nothing less.

Lines Laviolette used in practice:

JVR-Giroux-Carter
Hartnell-Richards-Briere
Carcillo-Pyorala-Asham
Kalinski-Laperriere-Nodl

I see potential in that JVR-Giroux-Carter Line

Haven't we already established that Carter on the wing doesn't work?

I like those lines - Giroux dishing off to Carter and JVR has great possibilities. And I like Hartnell-Richards together, with Briere to finish off the play.

I don't recall trying it much. Stevens did it for a game or two and people were awed at how well Carter was playing on the wing.
