JVR-Giroux-Carter
Hartnell-Richards-Briere
Carcillo-Pyorala-Asham
Kalinski-Laperriere-Nodl
****ing awesome. I see potential for a massive amount of points.

Giroux is better at center and I believe Carter's personality and play-style are more fit for the wing.

Even if you don't think that the line will work, it's at least worth checking out to see if it does.

Why do you think he is better at center? He was wing for most of his career in juniors, and has played center for the most part in the NHL by necessity....Really hasnt played a whole lot on the wing. I dont care where the guy plays, just give him some skill to play with. He should be playing with guys like Asham and POwe

I think he's better at center because every single time we've put him at center this year he's played better. Pretty sure most of us have noticed that.

You think Giroux should be playing with guys like Asham and Powe (who's injured) yet you think Giroux should be playing with guys with skill? lol.

So far this season, he has shown that at center, he can use his vision and creativeness with the puck. Maybe it was just a wierd coincidence, but at the moment Giroux was switched back to center, he started to put up more points and was more noticeable on the ice. At wing, he was confined to that side, but at center he was able to move all over dishing the puck as he pleases. Thats just me though. Some players I watch more then others (like for me I like watch Giroux, Pyorala,) so I noticed a change in Giroux's play when moved back to center. I could be wrong, but its just my opinion.

I'm very guilty of watching certain players. For example, I always watch Powe, Pyro, Betts, Pronger, Giroux and JVR. I NEVER watch Carter. There are nights I'm shocked to see how many minutes he played because I never kept track of him. When Lupul was here I watched him less than I did Carter.

Its called a typo...maybe if you actually read the context instead of just the words you would have understood that.

Thats fine....This is exactly what I was asking. Thank you for an appropriate response. I have missed more games this year than I typically do, how often has he even been on the wing?? I only saw it a couple times, mainly with Richards.

Personally, I dont think it matter where he plays, he just needs to be the primary playmaker....The problem we have here is that our two top centers love to be puck hogs, so Giroux might not necessarily work on the wing with them. I dont mind him at center at all, I just want him playing top 6 minutes and want him with guys other than Powe and Asham and the like......wait, sorry Powe is injured, cant use him as an example. Um how about Lappy and Asham??? Carcillo and Asham??

That vision and playmaking is useless if he isnt with guys that can capitalize on it. I really would like to see him and Briere together again....They looked great together in the playoffs last year, showed a lot of chemistry together.

You said, and I quote, "He should be playing with guys like Asham and Powe". Not my fault that you screwed up.

I said the same exact thing that sa cryed did except my post wasn't as lengthy.

Read on Tsn last week that Gagne was about a week away from returning. Is that true and if so, where does he slot into your lineup? Obviously a lot of uncertainty with the new coach and all, but any input would help. thanks

Most people seem to think that he will be on the 3rd line for a bit, possibly with Asham and Pyorala. And once he's back to 100%, who knows. Maybe swap him with Hartnell? Gagne does get alot of pp and pk time too

Giroux - Carter - Briere
Hartnell - Richards - Powe
Gagne - Pyorala - JvR
Kalinski - Betts - Lappy

Dump Carcillo. Ignore Nodl. Only other person I'd consider bringing up is Legein.

We need four solid lines at this point. Getting Betts, Powe, and Gagne back will be a huge boon to us. I really think that's why we're doing so poorly.

Just trade Carcillo. 3rd round pick in return. Salary dump and opens up space.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

You know what I say? Call up Legein and put him with Giroux and Gagne.

Hartnell-Richards-Pyorala
JVR-Carter-Briere
Gagne-Giroux-Legein
Asham-Kalinski-Lappy (Untill Powe/Betts are back)

Thats what I would do...Legein has 11 goals in 19 games for the phantoms. Why the hell not give him a shot. Something could spark.

I somehow feel though we won't score any goals and lose 1 or 2 to nothing.

Trade Carter, Coburn and Matsumoto for Koivu and Ryan. Have OKT take Coburn's place.

Hartnell-Richards-Ryan
JVR-Giroux-Briere
Gagne-Koivu-Legein
Asham-Betts-Lappy

Theres a bigger chance that that would not happen compared to just bringing up Legein. Also that would seem like the Ducks would be helping us. If anything, teams would see we would be in trouble and will try to gyp us.

I still think we should trade some people off. Is it possible to trade the ones we don't care much about. Carcillo? Asham? Cote? Nodl? Laliberte? Seriously, I find that Powe can easily replace Carcillo and the only good player out of the Nodl-Kalinski-Laliberte line is Kalinski, who is usually a good player.
