Leaving for Florida in a couple of hours! Sorry, I can't help but remind all my fellow Albertans how good my timing is. I'm still hoping for at least one Oilers win over a Florida team, I mean, come on!

He's an important part of this team, and his presence was missed. Tambo should have filled the void Stone's injury left with a waivers acquisition.

There's no correlation there. Half the team went down after he did. You can't tease the impact of his presence out of the record given all that noise.

With not knowing just how long Khabby will be out, we need to try and get JDD playing consistantly like a #1. Lots of starts and confidence is the key. Really he has been quite good for most of his starts. He had a hiccup there but has seemed to rebound.

I kinda wish we would pick up a cheap vet to sit on the bench and send Dubnyk back down so he can play lots with Springfield.

JDD is just so inconsistent. His rebound control is suspect and he gets beat high, for some mind-boggling reason.

Play DD a couple times. We need to see what both of them can do.

No reason to play Dubnyk. They are no back to backs for over a month.

Deslauriers needs to continue to play.

No better time than now to see which player to keep next season. With Khabibulin out its time to test JDD and see if he can hold the fort. He's been inconsistant but he's had some very good games. The goals today vs the stars were not his fault. Both times Gagner missed his check. Benn had all day to pick a shot, no one was near him and he was in the slot. The Neal goal could be he went down a little early, but Neal had all day to raise it over JDD (once again Gagner missed Neal, looking for puck).

Stick with JDD, he's the backup this is his job until Khabby gets better. Obviously within reason, if Khabby isn't back in a month. . . then you gotta look at it. The last thing the Oilers need is to throw away more points on a soft goal.

JDD needs to play, not Dubnik.

BTW, JDD's stats are now better than Khabibulin's - no, I'm not implying he's better, just that he's showing some good stuff.

We don't need another 3 headed goalie monster.
