Watching the Bruins/Leafs game, Bruins up by 2 at the end of the first (2-0). Just curious, did Kessel leave with bad blood in Boston? He's being booed every time he touches the puck, but the last I remembered, he got traded.

Anyways, other then that, just cooking supper for the wife and kids as my wife plays Crisis Core on PSP.

hummm, because he wouldn't accept their contract offers, that might refresh your memory, alota people here have mentioned that they wouldn't want a guy like Kessel on their team because of that, and rightly so. I kinda feel for Ruins fans on this one, well... not really.. but I get why they're peeved. I would be too.

Fans did get attached to him through the testicular cancer phase though. Not to compare too much, but the same could be said for Koivu then, no?

Koivu needed a change and wasn't going to re-sign in Montreal, and instead chose Anaheim's route. Do you see Montreal fans booing him?

Fiance is a Bruins die hard so the game is on but I can seem to find an ounce of give-a-crap about this game.

Huge difference. Koivu had what.. 12-13 years in MTL?
Gave his all to the city and the team.
Career winding down..

Here we got Kessel a young guy who really hasnt prove too much and already gave up (for money) on the team that drafted him..

Huge difference. The Habs wanted to change direction, Koivu wanted to come back. Kessel didn't give a damn and only wanted big buckeroos. You kinda then wonder if having testicular cancer at such a young age is a sign of bad karma for all the **** he's done in this life, kinda would fit the bill of someone going for $$ only and not be loyal to the organization that supported him while he was being cured of the said disease.

Also, Koivu spent 13-14 years in Montreal... Kessel, 3-4 years in the Bruins org.

If you're lucky, everything will close because of how brutal the city of Montréal is at snow removal.

It's my birthday and I have a brand new 3 month old daughter so I just wanted to spend it at home with her an my lovely wife. My parents came over with dinner and we all watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation on Blu-Ray (Got it for under $10, it looks and sounds great).

Well I'm not going to go that far as to say that because I'd never wish harm on someone, let alone cancer for that matter. But I understand what you mean when it comes down to that.

Well just to let you know, when I went to go see the Habs movie at the Bell Centre, at one point, Saku was shown in the movie and people applauded him. It wasn't super loud cheers or such, but it was 14,000 people clapping their hands for him.

And its really not what I meant either. Maybe you should read-up on what karma is. I'm not wishing him anything. I'm just speculating, hence the expression "I kinda wonder".

And I would too. But again, Koivu's story with the Habs is much different then with Kessel and the Ruins.

Whether Kessel had testicular cancer or not, doesn't give him the right to be a jerk and unloyal to the team that groomed him. I mean, in reality, maybe its Boston that pushed him and he just reacted by asking for money when the time came, who the hell knows, and that's the point, right now, with what is known, for most Ruins fans, Kessel is a big fat jerk...

....who probably got cancer through bad karma.
