Sens drop 4th straight on road trip
Quote:
This was Phoenix’s first victory over Ottawa since March 9, 2002.

One thing that has been clicking for Anaheim has been its special teams. The Ducks have killed off 24 of the last 26 minor penalties they've taken and have also scored a power-play goal in five of their last six games

Long road trip.
Back to back games.
Team as a whole playing like crap.
2-1 Anaheim: This board will implode with most pressing the alarm button, babies will thrown from buildings, teeth will be gnashed, blood pressure will go up, and Elliott will be thrown under the bus (even if Brodeur starts).

This is what I don't understand.
Clouston has tried almost every combination possible except Kovalev and Spezza. Whenever he gets asked about playing the two together he keeps saying it doesn't work and we tried in the preseason and its just not a good fit. Well, last night it was 3-0, and looked like no one gave a god damn. It would be the perfect opportunity to put Spezza and Kovalev together, I mean whats the worst that can happen, they score a couple more? Come on Clouston put these two together and let them show us why they shouldn't / can't play together.

I hope Mike Brodeur starts tonight. Better yet I hope we win tonight. 3 points on a road trip like this is disgusting.
