JOHNSON outplayed Kopitar. He didn't suck. He was out played by one of the best d-men in the league, it happens.

We need a 2nd line center. Move Stoll to wing. He's not that line needs. Same with Zeus. Find someone who can distribute the puck while Stoll shoots and Brown crashes the net.

Brown is snakebitten right now, and trying too hard. As Nick said, he'll likely score 9 in 9 (or something similar) when he breaks his slump.

Move Simmonds or Brown up to 1st line LW until Smyth gets back. That line misses Smyths grit.

I agree. The best thing TM can do for Brownie to end his scoreless streak is to move him to 1st line. If nothing else Kopi and Willy will put some rebounds in.

Amazing game guys. That Game-Tying-Goal at the end was awesome. Too bad you lost it in the SO though...

L.A. is the team I really want to see in the playoffs this season. Brown, Simmonds, Kopitar, Doughty, JJ = MANCRUSH2k

Sure seemed like the polar opposite of that. Kopitar was asleep all day. I was at the game and the first shift in the first period you knew Kopitar was going to fro-loaf around all game. He didn't even look awake on the breakout he should of scored on.

So, there's a huge reason why the ice was slanted toward Jonathan Quick. Quick was less than 90% on his save percentage, but this was a game where I hardly would blame him.
Kopi was wretched in the faceoff circle yesterday.

Handzus - 11/19 for 58%

Stoll - 12/24 for 50%

Richardson - 3/11 for 27%

Kopitar - 4/17 for 24%

Williams - 0/2 for 0%

Kopitar made a great move but the puck hopped over his stick.

It's good to know that Tom Hanks is a Kings fan, did anyone else see him go nuts when Fro tied it?

Don't hold your breath. Apparently Browm is doing what the coach wants: shots from any and all angles, regardless of the chance to score on them. (Which I absolutely hate, particualrly when Brown is putting half of them into the glass of netting)

I think he was shocked that Frolov knew where the net was.

Kopitar was pretty good in his own zone but struggled to finish offensively. He is getting the chances so he must be doing something right but he just can't finish right now. I was at the game and Kopitar looked out of it a little. He would skate to the bench with his head down and it looked like his confidence level was pretty low.

Bottom line KOPITAR has sucked for 2 weeks now. All other Kings have had good and bad games but Kopitar has been consistently bad.

That just isn't true and if you don't agree then you haven't been paying attention to anything more than the stat sheet.

I was in 110 yesterday. Were any of you guys in 110? there was a guy right behind me who probably said "pucks in play" over 50 times when people would stand up...even if they weren't getting in his way.

It may have been Hammond, but I read somewhere that Murray is going to make a conscious attempt to shorten Kopitar's shifts...I think that would be a great thing.

Kings have 7 points in 4 games. Not gonna complain too much about that, especially since they were only 0:20 from not getting a point against the Blues.
