So your implying that older members who have watched the game longer know more then the younger members, and their posts are more educated?

Its not written in stone. Younger people can have played the game more than someone who is older and understand it better. Generally though the longer you've been around the wiser you become.

Its also fun to ruffle feathers. And easy!

Does anyone think we could be seeing a renaissance of Jon Cheechoo? I think his recent strong play has been mostly due to him being more comfortable on the west coast but imagine if he was able to pick up his game and become a 25-30 goal guy again. It would probably be better than any trade Murray could make.

Also, I would cheer out loud if Spezza sat out for a week. Playing seems to be making him worse and at this point, he's certainly not helping us win.
Agreed about Spezza. Something has to give. He's looking worse and worse out there which leads me to believe his injury is not improving. Sitting would be the best thing - its not like he's producing anyway.

Not saying you fall into this category, but alot of people have played the game for a long time and still are pretty clueless about it

the look Elliott had on his face after the first goal last night shows me he's frustrated with his D not being able to clear the zone or the guys in front of the net. I think Elliot playing better starts with a better effort in front of him

Highly doubt it, but its possible he could score 15 goals. I'd be pretty shocked if he got more than that, let alone that much at all. What did he score last year, 12?

More so the younger ones yes, not adults who have played competitive for a long time.

15 goals would be decent for Cheechoo. 20 and I'd be ecstatic.

Agree 100%, a goalie can only be as good as the defense infront of him

I don't so much mean that he'll score 25 or 30 but he'll become the player he used to be and be dangerous each night and actually contribute for the remainder of the season instead of being the living textbook of terrible skating.
