Okay, so I'm not delusional...when I had first seen it, I thought no goal...

Then I said to myself, "Okay, maybe I'll see it on the replay." Nope.

I saw it as going in off the back crossbar.

btw there's a thread about it around here. Someone had a very good argument - if it went off the crossbar, is it possible that NO ONE heard that? Short answer is NO.
If you have played hockey your entire life and probably fired millions of pucks at the net, or in the goalies case faced like tens of millions of shots -- you get a pretty good feeling for if a puck goes in or not.

Like you are saying, all the players around the net would have reacted differently if it went of the cross bar.

By the look of the crappy highlite feed I was watching it definitely seems like it went in of the center post inside the net or the inside bar. Just by looking at how Cally shot the puck and how it bounced out.

That view doesnt do it for me. I slowed that down on the DVR on my HD tv.

Im not saying it didnt go in, but thats the only view that actually showed the puck hitting the net and to me it appeared to hit the crossbar, but the angle was funny and the action of the puck wasn't super clear at the moment of impact. It was kinda caught in between frames.

Again, some of you say its definitely in. Ill take the people who were sitting in the crowd's word for it first, and they said it went in. Plus Callys reaction as well as the refs would tell you it went in.

It really doesnt matter at this point though!

The puck was most likely on the edge when it hit the roof of the net and bounced right back out again.

Same thing happened on Higgins' goal... The goal-net looked very stiff that night.

The ref was standing in the perfect spot. Pretty easy to tell whether or not it hit the crossbar from where he was standing.

Anyways, sure, Drury was solid defensively, but offensively? Give me a break. He created nothing, passed like a blind man and can't hit the net if he doesn't shoot it along the ice. I give him props for going to the net at least, but both him and we know that's the only way he'll pick up goals.
I was at the game last night and he played very well on both sides of the puck. He had probably 4-5 shots on goal(good shots) and he looks very good on the point on the PP.

Yup, saw them all. He still looked good to me. He is a lot bigger than I thought he was going to be(in comparison to the rest of the defense) and he was very physical.

I was sitting directly behind the goal and I noticed the same thing all night(even in warm-ups). Not sure the reason for the goal net being so stiff.

It's unbelievable how many Times Jeanerrete got a Rangers players name wrong last night.

That happened about 12 times yesterday.

It was probably new or tightened up too much...

did it look like they had just painted the goal posts? Maybe they did and when they put the net back on they made it too tight...

I didnt concentrate on it. They looked like new goals. But still, it was ridiculous how tight they were.

sheesh...you'd think Callahan didn't play for the Rangers after reading all this nonsense.

yep, he was awful. I hate having MSG but being in a region that means we get the Sabres feed...I almost chose to sacrifice the picture quality and just watch the yahoo sports feed on my laptop with the Rangers crew

Got into a pretty big fight with my friend whose from Buffalo and a die-hard Sabres fan over RJ last night. I said he was terrible and she defended him to the death.

I feel bad for her, has no idea what good commentating really is.
