Nobody calls Nick frail or says he needs to bulk up though. That was my point.

I think I've discovered the real reason Rafalski is out - he's insane:

http://blog.mlive.com/snapshots/2009...ian_raf_1.html

"Rafalski said he got a chance to meet Glenn Beck on Friday on a tour of Fox News Channel in New York.

“It’s my favorite,” he said of Beck’s show. “I watch every day.”"

I've said it before and I'll say it again - there needs to be a vomiting smiley on HF.

Well, I didn't think much of Rafalski, anyhow.

This guy is green in the face, and looks like he is dry heaving.
If I ever met Glen Beck I would punch him in the throat so hard he couldn't talk ever again.

Well it's final now, I want him out! lol

I hope he meant it by saying, he likes watching how much of a dumb*** Glenn Beck is cause there is no way someone can take that DB seriously!

That's the solution Raffy, less Glenn Beck and the Daily Show and you'll come right back!

I believe it. First of all, Rafalski has a tiny pin-sized head.
Secondly, I a quote from him before where he said he liked the Drudgereport.com.

I think it's gonna be a while. It's possible to play through it but you really have to question his decision-making ability with that kind of a condition.

Hey, less of the Glen Beck/Politics thing and more of the Rafalski having the back of an 80 yr old thing (he hurt it getting out of a chair...).

Reminds me of Wade Boggs injuring his back putting on cowboy boots or Sammy Sosa injuring his back sneezing. What is it about back injuries that they are so often hilarious?

oh no... i've been surrounded by libs this whole time?!
i'll give you that Beck is crazy, but most talking heads, left and right, are.

sorry Winger, back on topic-ish. i still can't stand that we're paying Raffy as much as we are for what we're getting, but i hate him a little less now.

It makes a lot more sense for a guy making $6 million a year to support the wingnuts than it does the usual suspects that clamor to give what remains of their meager incomes to the top 1% even more expeditiously.

The Wings should just play Kindl and save Raf for the playoffs

Puck movement like 100x better with Raf in the lineup. Maybe we should keep Lebda out and slot in Kindl.

That would work too, I just get p.o.'d with Raf cause he's overpaid. He needs a serious paycut asap

Him and/or Meech. While I think Meech is a better defensive defenseman than Lebda, they're both on the outs when Kindl comes to play next season.

I know he didn't play a whole lot (a tad under 12 mins) against New Jersey, and I didn't see the game, but I read through the GDT and I didn't see ONE comment about Kindl's play. I'm taking that as a very good thing as he was up against a quality side on the road in only his 2nd NHL appearance.

Agree/disagree?

Don't forget Brent Sopel hurting his back after picking up a cracker.

I started getting back spasms when I was 12 or so. Was playing table tennis with my cousins in Michigan, and went to smash the ball... couldn't move for like, 3 days, and it happens about once a year from that point on. Less so if I'm active.

Of course it's funny now, but damned if it doesn't (and still does) hurt.
