Almost...Gabe Gauthier centered those two when they were their most productive. Boyle didn't really center them much at all. Boyle struggled with the Monarchs just like he struggled with the Kings just like he's struggling now in NY. The Moulson - Gauthier - Purcell line was a very electric and dynamic line when they were on the farm.

Welcome back Oscar. Ivanas should play tonight due to Calgary's size.

I think he was called up to be Heidi Androl's designated driver as she will probably need one, as we all will, after tonight's game.

They should send Purcell make to Manchester for a couple games to try to get him to regain is scoring touch, if he still fails after that call up then waive him...

You don't call up Oscar Moller to center the fourth line when Manchester is THAT banged up. He's being brought in to score.

If you need a fourth line center, you could have always called up Cliche.

Oscar Moller and Rob Scuderi are in the Kings’ lineup in place of Peter Harrold and Davis Drewiske. Moller will play right wing on the fourth line with Ivanans and Richardson. Scuderi is back, from what he revealed to be a sprained ankle.

More notes from the skate soon…

The Caps are the best team in the NHL this season...how exactly are they missing Brashear?

The days of the cement head goon are over, the sooner Terry Murray realizes that the better.

I have no problem with playing guys with toughness, but you cannot send out a complete liability every game, especially when you are rolling 4 lines and in contention for a playoff spot.

The days of the goon are far from over...especially when Colton Orr gets 1 million a year and numerous teams were after him, Parros gets a 3 year deal and even the Wings sign Brad May.

The Capitals have John Erskine, who was a minor league tough guy who has become a decent player....he can fight anyone....Bradley is there middleweight.

I'll take any of the players you mentioned over the waste of a roster space Ivanans has become.
