I think hes a part of the group (Im not putting words in anyones mouth im speculating) that feel Carcillo singlehandidly cost the team Game 6, and ever since then hes PE#1.

Some otherwise reasonable, loved and respected posters were (and still are) part of that retard parade.

I'll take some good old fashioned punk rock over metal any day of the week. I'm talking real punk rock, too. Basically nothing after like 1996.

Theres a lot of similarites with metal and punk, especially thrash. Metallica in particular. a lot of their songs has a punk feel, just longer, with change ups and solos. When they cover punk songs it feels right.

I will always have disdain for Carcillo due to Homers bad asset management and Carcillo's inability to score

but sometimes when I forget about how we got him, I like him as a 4thliner

The thing that bother me is we had to give up Upshall and a 2nd because we scrweed up teh salay issues.

However, Carcillo is nice 4th line winger who can provide energy as long as he does not act retardly again.

I agree, we overpaid for him (that's on Homer tho) and this should be his last chance.
And I'll repeat what I said earlier.. We still need him. Especially if it's true that Laviolette isn't too high on enforcers. We need someone who keeps the other teams Ducos, Averys, Ruttus on their best behavior. Why not someone who can actually play aswell..

That's 20 centers on 30 teams who are better hockey players than Jeff Carter. And I left one or two out just to save myself some flaming.
Now go ahead and dig out some stat sheets to prove you're right and I'm wrong...
Agree with all except the bolded. Staal will be better i think, not now. Lecavalier has sucked this year, and he sucked last year.

Cammalleri never played center for the Habs (though it was suggested and he said he would not mind).

Our top center this year is Tomas "Little girl with turtleneck" Plekanec. Whether he is better than Carter or not - it's up to you to decide since I do not know Carter very much.

tavares hasent even played a full year... to say he's better than carter is absurd. Is he playing better than carter, most likely. That is not the topic however.

Stupid Question. Tavares makes what ? <1mill. WILL be just as good if not better than carter.. And hes 19 years old. Its a no brainer. But to say he is better than carter at this point, which you said, is stupid. He played a half of an NHL season. Ask me this question in a year or so, and show me what Tarvares did. At least you'll have some facts to support your opinion.

A stupid "no brainer" if you will.

By the way, how did you come to the conclusion that he "WILL" be better than Jeff Carter? Should we assume that all 19 year olds will be better than Jeff Carter too? What exactly are you basing this on? His half a season's worth of nhl hockey?

Hello?

Can we please stay on topic, this is a Dan Carcillo support thread...not a Jeff Carter thread...or a John ****ing Tavares thread. ****, he's not even a Flyer for crying out loud.

On topic, thank you.

Thought I heard in TSN's Carcillo interview that this was Dan's first instigator penalty in over 60 fights.

I have become more and more tired of him over time actually. I thought he would be more disciplined, but I dont see it. So yeah, I have given up on him.

Funny how everyone here used to be all about Jeff Carter and now they want to trade the guy, yet I get ripped cuz I think Carcillo isnt worth the liability of having him on the team.
