The little dreakmur/jarek debate last night was funny. For the record, we did talk about this series and neither of us became convinced of much other than it was extremely hard to call. Every advantage seemed to be offset by a different disadvantage.

We ended up submitting opposite votes, so both GMs can rest assured that as a whole, we did not have an effect on the result of this series. The other GMs can have that headache.

Good luck, gentlemen. This is the closest one I've seen all playoffs so far.

It's probably too late, as most who will vote have voted already. But since the deadline was extended, I'll add one final thought:

Don't forgot the ability of Bobby Orr to elevate the forwards playing in front of him.

Joe Malone may be behind Esposito on all-time lists (and rightfully so), but Orr's presence behind him has a good chance of pushing his scoring over Esposito's. And that's before getting into the better defensemen Espo has to face.

Good series Nayd/Sturm. May the best team advance.

I know it's too late for this debate, but I finally found what I was looking for.

Paul Thompson played center in New York
