We just played againts the big bad Bruins and the Flyers, if felt like we were playing againts Winnie the Pooh's and Donald Ducks, Laraque stays in the line-up, plain and simple.

What i would do is put Pyatt with Sergei and Gomez then put White with Lappierre and Laraque.

I agree with that WS,but if there is no room for him on the top 6 and he doesn't play in an offensive role,do we keep him?

Not me. He's been excellent.

No way he sits unless he's injured after the last couple games he's played (assist last night too btw).

D'Ago is still better than White at this point.

Right now Martin's system makes everyone but Price look bad. We're going to regret some of these deals later.

Good thing that the farm team is relatively close by this year. Pretty soon we will have to call up that guy who jumped on the ice in practice a few years back.

I just believe in him. I also believe that the return for a prospect like him will never be as great as the potential he might have. Unless you find a team who,s ready to make a Locke for Belle type of trade. As far as picks are concerned, well we were able to get a 4th in a what seems to be a weak draft for an ex-1st rounder who had approx. the same number of games than D'Ago. What are we going to have for him remains a mystery.

d'agostini (imo) he's not a JAcques Martin type of players, so watch gainey to move him soon like they did with Lats

Great surprises? They have 2 points combined in like 25 games.

Good one!

I dunno why White has to be called up, D'agostini/Laraque did alright last game and Pyatt was scratched anyway. Now D'Ago/Laraque will be scratched.

White better generate some points or else he's a waste of space IMO.

Laraque's presence is obvious imho. He just has to be there and things stay nice a quiet after whistles. He's also lost weight and can actually hold his own as a hockey player out there in a limited 4th line role. Very solid with the puck along the boards and has decent hockey sense for an enforcer who lacks in skating. He's helping us win right now if you ask me. I wouldn't sit him. Not yet anyway.

Disagree. D'Agostini was terrible last night. If he's not scoring (which is most of the time) he's completely useless. White will at least crash and bang and play on the PK.

I would bump Lapierre up to 2nd line RW and play Pyatt and White with Laraque on the 4th line for tonight.

There's no reason to bench D'agostini. I agree to play him till he figures it out. I don't want to see MaxPac off that third line--they play well together. I'm tired of these white or pyatt experiments on the top 2 lines, they'll never work or help the team. Just let them grind it out on the 4th line where they are most comfortable.

I like your thinking. The puke strategy should definitely be explored.

Playing Pyatt, Pouliot, Pacioretty and Plekanec on the PK in front of Price pressuring Phillips and Picard positions as the points on Ottawa's power play could be a problem if we take too many pentalties...promoting White's a perfect plus playing right into the plan.
