You guys should look into acquiring Dan Ellis out of Nasvhille or Josh Harding out of Minnesota (Would be a good longterm option also)

Emery was getting plenty of rest. The only reason to play Boucher was to get him into game action, and he has proven he can go long stretches without playing and still perform when he gets the chance.

The schedule is pretty demanding for the remainder of the season and there was going to be a lot of time sharing between Emery and Boucher out of necessity going forward. The next six weeks will be tough because the schedule is such that Boucher won't be able to play every game without risking injury himself.

I'd not be surprised if this turns their season, if they rally 'round, circle the wagons, damn the torpedoes, all that jazz.

Sometimes the sting of a thorn awakens a slumbering giant.

From the Fantasy Sticky on Dec 2nd...

One of the few times I wish I wasn't right. Hopefully Emery can get healthy quickly.

My dad is a boxing fan and he always tells me, "a man is most dangerous when he's hurt."

Hopefully the Flyers can hang on through this standing 8 count and get back on the right track!

3 Step Plan
1. Comcast Buys the Sabres
2. Trade us Ryan Miller and Thomas Vanek
3. Stanley Cup

I've always wondered what it'd be like to talk hockey in the 14th and 19th centuries.

I love you for posting that pic.

well this explains a lot. We'll see if laviolette really is cut from a different cloth. Usually when a goalie gets hurt for us, the call up never gets a chance. Ask neil little

Switch players back and forth. Who cares if the Sabres go over teh cap

We can always but the Lightening if we need a few more players

Vanek-Richards-Hartnell
St.Louis-Stamkos-Roy
Malone-Connoly-JvR
Downie-Bets-Grier

Pronger-Carle
Ohlund-Timonen
Hedman-Myers

Miller
Nittymaki

Works perfectly

You forgot Giroux . . . who i'd put instead of Roy. Move Roy to the 3rd line with JVR and Malone. Put Connoy with Downie and Betts . . . domination.

One guy I would suggest Holmgren takes a look at is Cory Schneider.
Don't know if you saw his 45-save game against Dallas last month. The kid is for real.
Cheap at a cap hit of 1.084M.
Has already proven everything he can in the AHL. Luongo is locked up long term, so he has nowhere to play.

You can take one of our D-men too - O'Brien (cheaper) or Bieksa.

Schneider and O'Brien for Coburn and Nodl?
