.500 is same number of losses and wins. Because you either loose (regular or OT) or win.

So Ottawa with 14-10-4 is .500.
We have 14-14-2 so we need two wins to get to .500!

Also about who's hot, besides Cammy:
  • Plekanec: 14 points in his last 12 games;
  • Paciorretty: 8 points in his last 10 games;
  • Hammer: 6 points in his last 9 games (pace of 55 points);
  • Andrei: 7 points in his last 7 games (not 6 points in 6 games);
Actually the NHL doesn't use winning %, they use point %. .500 means we got half of the possible points available as oppose to half the wins available.

Why are they starting Halak?
Price was under worked last game and should be rested and fresh!
Montreal needs to win these Divisional games, I have don't have that same comfort level with Halak that I do with Price

Montreal has 30 points in 30 games that's 500 if you ask me!

They avg 1 point per game!

Good news. A win here puts the team in 8th, with Tampa being currently tied with us, with a game in hand. Also, TB is heading out west, which should be good news for us.

I can totally see Kovalev ripping two top right corner right over the shoulder of the smaller Halak.

That's just the collective brain fart of those who got it in their heads today that Lecavalier is coming to Montreal... nothing to do with the game.
