Can we trade Rosie? He was a solid #2 defenseman for years (yes, 30-40 per year plus decent size and decent defense does quality you as a #2), so someone may want him. Not a lot of return, but we should be able to get a 3-4 round pick. He has only 2 years after this one, so it's not too bad.

I'd rather have a rookie make rookie mistakes for a few hundred thousand than a veteran for $5 million.

I can't imagine anybody would take his contract. Honestly, we dont even need anything in return, the return would be no more Rozsival and 5 mil of cap space for next year

probably have to make a nice package along with Higgins to deal him.

Rozi and Higgins to the Ducks for Artyukhin or Mike Brown would work

WHL. He got kicked off Rockford for having a Food Fight with another prospect Akim Aliu. The argument started over a debate of which league was better, the WHL or the OHL. Including Beach, 2 other guys from the team thought the WHL was better, so Aliu got mad and threw Teriyaki sauce all over Beach.

Pretty sure he'll be playing with us next year.

.

this has the potential to be a real determining game for the future of this team this year.

It can get real ugly real early and if Sather is really working the phones, a major loss tonight can get him closer to pulling the trigger on a deal.

Not a panic reaction, just a confirmation of sorts that this team is as bad as they have played the last month and a half.

I hope they win, but if they lose, I hope it's a touchdown difference in the final result

Probably doesn't matter. Niemi's given up 1 goal in his last 2 starts.

Keeping it close would be a victory for the Rangers IMO.

That's without Dave Bolland in their line up.

Needless to say, we match up nicely against them.

Come on, we're ready to blow up the team and fire the coach after quarter of the season?

Everyone step back from the ledge, take a breath.

Do we want/expect a Mike Keenan-esqe turnover of 35% of the roster? What is that going to accomplish? Throw new players together and while they're feeling each other out and learning how to play with each other the board will be calling for more heads.

Every GM in the league knows what Sather needs, he isn't dealing from a position of strength and isn't going to be 'bullied' into making a deal.

Is this true? I love it.

Anyway, watching a real hockey team should be fun tonight. I don't care who wins or loses.
