this will be ugly.

uc is a tough place to play and tougher place to win.

this team will struggle to compete tonite with the hawks coming in waves.

the hawks top 6 is scary. although our 2nd and 3rd lines are even scarier, but for a different reason.

5-2 loss

'Hawks win 4-1, lone goal from Gaborik, a tip in assisted by a missed slap shot from Droo-ree.

I'll go 5-1 Hawks, Lundqvist starts but Johnson finishes.

I'm actually really pumped for this game, I think they pull it out 3-2 in OT.

I think the Rangers raise their level of play tonight; I'm sure they're pissed they lost to Detroit when they probably could've and should've won.

Huet's #'s aren't bad recently, otherwise I'm sure Niemi would've earned a few more starts after his shutout of vancouver.

Don't gimme how he has size, he doesn't use it, he's not tough, he doesn't hit, he belongs in Hartford. Gee Torts you had Brashear with Drury and Callahan why not try that one again I'm sorry for letting some anger out here but when i read stuff like this it makes me wonder why I think Torts is a good coach.
You shouldn't have such a knee jerk reaction about this; Tortarella has done this with Brashear a handful of times, and only once he's stayed on the 3rd line longer than the first shift or two of the game.

I like that he tries to reward solid play with extra minutes to the 4th liners at this point; why the hell not considering how our 2nd and 3rd lines are playing?

Hopefully some Hawks players realize this and stay home.

In particular, Kane, Toews, Hossa, Versteeg, Ladd, Huet, etc etc

You guys are better off facing Cristobal Huet

Huet 13-6-2 2.24 GAA / .906 Sv Pct 1 SO
Niemi 5-1-1 1.71 GAA / .931 Sv Pct 2 SO (was a 1:30 away from shutting out Pit last game)

Even with those players out we'd still find a way to lose. Anyone remember the game against Minnesota?

95% of the time it plays out exactly as it's supposed to, though.

Let's go Gaborqvists.
Except for the fact that this is the perfect time for any team (AHLers included) to slap Chicago. They played really ******* awful on Friday.

Anywho, I love original 6 match-ups. Good luck.
