Voinov NOT to skate at WJC

This is becoming really bad, first Grachev, then Voinov...both no NHL players...

That really sucks, but I think it might be because Manchester is already suffering from a lot of injuries that they don't want to risk Voynov getting hurt as well. That would be my guess.

Fine by me, will be special if they can take it all the way in Manchester

Good new for me. Manchester doesn't need to be anymore short handed. Although it does seem the more players they lose the more they win. haha

Pending any further clarification on the story, I would tend to agree that it sucks and wonder about Voinov's morale in all of this. He obviously badly wants to make the NHL or he wouldn't have come to North America and wouldn't be playing in Manchester, a city which in an interview a few months back he indicated that he didn't particularly care for. I hope this latest news won't be a setback in his progress/motivation toward becoming a King.

Bad for Russia, good for the Monarchs/Kings.

Exactly, I'm sure Voynov will be fine, is Andrei in Manchester or in LA? Where did he and Hickey get their surgery's done?

I believe in LA, I know they talked about how Loktionov was going back to LA to get surgery done.

I'm hoping his morale is great after he gets at least some time in the NHL next season.
