You know, I'm fine with us losing games, but can we ****ing score a goal? Can the collective $25 million of Datsyuk, Zetterberg, Lidstrom, and Rafalski lead by example? Show some leadership? Can our coach bear down and teach a few new plays for the PP?

Yep. He was on the ice when Giggy took that penalty.

And now Howard joins the **** crew. Brutal goal.

Welcome to the club, Jimmy.

This is precisely the reason why I bought all my Wings tickets for February and March. Maybe I'll be able to witness them score a ****ing goal when I'm at the Joe.

He does. Jimmy letting in a bad goal doesn't change that.

But leave it to Wings fans to bring up the goaltending war when our team can't score a goal.

Maybe its just me, but I'm more pissed off that Pavel Datsyuk and Niklas Lidstrom make damn near a collective $15M and are playing like they should make a collective $5M.

Why the hell not? It's not like they're going to put anything past Giggy anyway. This is abomination.

Halak lets in bad goals, too. Atleast Howard has a cool mask.

I work Saturdays and have to be up before 7am, but **** it. This goal-less crap is too brutal to watch so I'm gonna join some folks at Ashley's for a few (read: 7-8) suds. If any annoyed Wings fans are in Ann Arbor, feel free to join me.

Where the heck is our "depth?"

I can't get a good read on this team. Are they struggling, or do they just suck? Its hard to believe 3 or 4 players can make that much of a difference. Especially when 2 of them are Filpulla and Williams. They're not exactly gamebreaking players. I can see Franzen and Kronwall's injury having a big impact on the team. But the team shouldnt be this damn pathetic. Its not like we were dominating the league when everyone was healthy either. Does anyone remember the first few weeks of the season when the Wings struggled even then?

I cant help but wonder if we're missing the real problem with this team by pointing at injuries.

And no its not goaltending. Not when we've been shutout god knows how many times.

We lost a decent scoring line in Hossa, Sammy and Hudler.
Now we've lost Cleary-Flip-Franzen + Kronwall.

And now, when our supposed best players aren't very good, the losses make us lose games and not score goals. The depth was what made us win those games when either Datsyuk or Z were off. Now we lose those games. What's disturbing is that I don't see any signs of them breaking out anytime soon... nor that management is going to use this bla bla

HOMER!!!!!

finally a goal

maybe homer should just float around the slot, like hull used to do. he isn't very effective at anything else, and they are struggling to score even 1 or 2 goals.

another strange penalty on anaheim.

Leino is trying hard tonight. But the problem is he'll look good for 1 or 2 games then vanish again.
