will somebody please take out those idiots behind Mase who pound on the glass the whole game. It is non-stop. they even do it when there's no action. I"m trying not to be a grumpy old man but they are annoying as hell.

Well they played a good "Hitch period", for whatever that's worth. I'd like to see a wide angle on that 4 on 2 they gave up; the offensive play was good, it just feels like somebody was sitting back admiring their scoring opportunity instead of getting back up high. I hate the idea of Hitch telling guys not to even try to score anymore when that ends up happening because of it.

The goal was all Mase, though. If he had his pad on the ice and skate against the post, that wouldn't have gone in.

Slow and tentative, but he's got hockey smarts most players on this team could only dream about. Active stick, nice board work. Also uncorked a nasty wrister from the high slot that almost fooled Hiller.

Beastly on the boards.
He really is a large man, who knows how to fight for the puck.

Please, I would love to find those guys in an alley with my car... not to actually hit them, just drive after them laying on the horn for a few blocks

Why does a team that just played the previous night always play so well against a rested Jackets team?

Well, he's not alone. Sexton has been on fire this week. Two points in the last two games including single-handedly willing the Ducks to an OT victory in their last home game.

Doubt the kid can continue to play like this, but he's been a bright spot in a disappointing season for the Ducks.

**** these officials up their stupid *****. I hate games like this where they ONLY call phantom penalties, and don't blow the whistle for real ones.

Speaking of which... let's see what they call here. That *could* be two individual minors to Anaheim. I doubt it will.

As I was saying...

****ing ***** Getzlaf crosschecked Nash TWICE, both times waiting for the refs to be turned around. Almost like he was a professional wrestler in the 90s or something.

Getzlaf is a "superstar" so he's not going to get called for that. I'm surprised they didn't give Boll 2 minutes for saying mean things to Getzy.

I hate to admit it, but that was a beautiful move by Bobby Ryan.
