Kovalchuk is a 50 goal scorer, top sniper in the league, and shot from just under the hash marks and the goal is Price's fault?

That's it, Price has officially been figured out. He should retire from goaltending and go ride horses.

games like this are about scoring on your chances. Andrei did his part tonight. The thrashers did one better than us. Andrei's little brother could have changed the entire game. Metro pulled a Begin, but i'll forgive him cuz he
a) is a warrior and allowed us to even be in the game
b) should have drawn a penalty on that play

it was a dumb penalty though. oh my god was it stupid. i'm sure he feels like crap right now.

can we not bash pleks for one faceoff please. He's a god on the PK, probably our best player tonight with Gomez, AK and Price and the play that Kovalchuk scored on didn't start in our zone.

If there's someone to blame, its SK. Couldn't finish the beautiful play Gomez gave him and totally had a brain fart on his breakaway.

But honestly, I wouldn't blame anyone for tonights loss, it's pretty much the whole team at fault.

He's been playing alright but probably not at peak. But honestly, he's been playing with noone who can actually finish the play, so nothing to show on the scoresheet.

SO once again the REFS hand a loss to the Habs.
Call the game properly right to the end and it's the Habs that have a Power Play and NOT Atlanta. Result= Habs get skrewed by the REFS again.
These kind of things happen everytime, Metro did a stupid play and he cost the Habs the game

Gomez is getting the Lats treatment, now that Lats is gone. Nothing he does that's good actually exists. Everything he does is bad, including things he doesn't do.

Strange game for Price. He looking amazing on some saves, and brutal on some goals (and posts). Oh well, can't blame him...it wouldn't have made it to OT if it were not for some of his saves. At least we got one point. Should have been 2, but it was a long week...4 games in a week is a lot of hockey. Getting closer and closer to having a full lineup and healthy team. Can't wait to see everyone back!

Lucky to get a point. In some ways, you have to admire the team for hanging in there game after game, giving themselves a chance to win. But being peppered 2-1 in shots every game is concerning. We're still in the hunt for a PO spot, though, which at this point is all we could hope for.

You have 3 guys on the ice in overtime vs Kovalchuk. Much too often, it's **** meets fan..

I guess nobody on this team got JM's message after last game? They actually got worse with the penalties given how many of them were committed by veterans.

Habs are dominated by pretty much all the teams. Really a great system. If only most of the games were entertaining.

Retaliation, call.

Sure they deserve some blame again, another horrible non-call.

Gomez was doing great. He moves the puck up the ice with ease but he has no support out there because his linemates blow ass. He needs somebody to shoulder some of the load, that is why gionta needs to come back.
