Or any of the other 5 or so times he's been burned in the last few games.

I don't think those times are a symptom of a pre-existing injury. Look at the empty net goal, that wasn't a physical thing. He was caught napping, just mental laziness.

I think he's hoping OKT will start going to the bars with the guys so maybe he can pick off some 5th- or 6th-hand Richie/Carter gash. Can't blame him really.

I am sure that the vast majority of posters here have good friends.

But we don't constantly verbally blow them.

Maybe it happened when Semin danced around him in the home opener.

I think this is the happiest i've ever been about an injury

Coburn has made me insane with rage lately. Now Tolly can go out there and prove that we don't need Coburn anymore.

If by "we don't need Coburn" anymore in order to have a mediocre defenseman, then yes.

If by "don't need Coburn anymore" you mean they don't need him to look good on the second pairing with Timonen, then it will be Parent that proves this if it is anyone.

I don't think that OKT is the type of guy to let Semin around him. He'll stop Semin no matter what, even sacrificing his face and/or chest.

Lets just hope he doesnt skate into the boards and hurt himself first... anything positive after that is a plus. Im looking for maybe a W in the fight category too. One can hope.

Not sure if it's a result of stupidity or the pussification of the league. A lot of times you see guys play the man when they get dangled but they get called for interference.
