Yea thats what I meant. I figure they are in Boston now, away from the Philly skanks. Unless they have some groupies on tour or something.

Hopefully the losing ends too.

I was looking at the stats from the Devils game and we had more shorthanded shots (4) than powerplay shots (3). The Flyers had no giveaways while the Devils had 12. Flyers also were 63% on faceoffs. So there were some positives there.

I want to see hard work and discipline hockey.

If we do this we will win.

Flyers may be sucking, but MSE's GDTs are NUMBER 1 in the league (HFBoards).

Good choice in song.

Time to start digging out of the grave, boys. Here's a Winter Classic preview! GO FLYERS!

We'll win tonight because we add lots of energy. Carcillo is back, and OKT will throw his weight around, couple of big open ice hits, and he'll fight Thornton in one hell of a fight. This will fire up the rest of the team, and the Bruins will be knocked out of their own building

Don't have any inside knowledge, but my money's on Rask starting.

I know goalies' records are often circumstantial and Thomas hasn't been "bad", but take a look at the records

Thomas: 7-7-4
Rask: 9-2-2

Eventually, Julien has to see that maybe there's something to these stats besides luck.

Also, The Flyers pretty much dominated most of the game the last time these 2 teams played and Rask saved a point (Asham's goal was soft but Tuukka more than made up for it).

Looking forward to this one! Hope for a good game. Also fun to be an adversary of my Philly-born girl for one night.

No Cote? I know he's mostly useless, but he and Shawn Thornton have some epic tilts.

Take it all back, haha.

Word is Thomas left the morning skate first and will start tonight. Good break for the Flyers, IMO. It's tough saying that about the defending Vezina winner, but Rask is the better goalie right now.

still waiting for parent to be moved up with Timonen, OKT should not be making this big of a jump from not playing to most likely 20+ mins.

Good. Backup goalies are this team's Achilles heel.

A win would be nice tonight because we aren't getting one in the next two games. Against our favorite team too.

I've been really down in the dumps about the Flyers lately, but I really think a win tonight would spark the team back in the right direction. It's a big game and this is a preview (I guess) to the Winter Classic. I think the guys will be up for this game and work hard. I think they realize Lavy isn't f--king around anymore and they need to produce.

I'm looking for big games from Briere, Carcillo, and Richards/Carter (one of the two will show up). I can also see Hartnell starting some sh-t to lead into the WC.

Who's betting what on who, for the game tonight?

I'm thinking of going 500 on the Bruins.

I feel exactly the same way. Just wondering why i even bother staying up. Well i wont be tonight, i'll be up at 6 in the morning to check the scores, probably to see a loss, which will put me in a bad mood all day.
