Not necessarily opposed to the idea but lots of other team boards do this and I don't want to be a conformist

Ugh. I guess Bryz was due for a game like this. That's up there with the weakest goals he's let in this year; top 3 for sure.

This reminds me of the Rangers game a while back, which I also think was the first game of a tough road trip.

These teams are both really hitting hard tonight.

I'll take 2-1 at the end of the first, please.

Nice Aucion. There were about 3 different calls that could have been made there.

That's 2 games in a row.

Is there some sort of rule that prevents the Red Wings from having more players with two or less syllables in their last names?

Yes Bryzgalov has struggled tonight but the speed of the Wings has been dominant tonight. Well coached game by Babcock. They are really taking it to Phoenix who look like they are chasing the play at all times.

The Wings are OWNING the faceoffs tonight. 76% after two periods.

Well atleast Vrbata has 10 goals now. this game can be won in the 3rd, but we need a goal before the 10 min mark.

- 3-2 Vrbata. Congrats to him, first Yote to hit ten this year. Vrbata and Pyatt are hot of late.

-We started not to suck that bad the last 5 minutes of the period. Maybe the goal can shake em up a little.

-I donŽt know whats up with Vandermeer up late. Very poor decision making,
IŽd rather see him benched instead of Schlemko. Right now Vandermeer is useless.

- Bryz having a meh night. But he was due to have one. But he still kept us in this game with his saves on Eaves and Bertuzzi.

Not to thrilled with that loss, we won that game minus Bryz softie. If that game went into ot that was our game, they didnt do much if anything at all the end of the 2nd and all of the 3rd.

We better come out and ruin the Leafs.

This loss tonight wouldn't be as bad if we didn't have that 6-0-1 point streak while losing in regulation to LA ad SJ in the process.
Tonight was absolutely a learning experience for the team on what happens when you don't play 60 minutes of hockey vs a experienced team like the Wings even with their list of injuries.

Nice to see Jovo get both assists on goals by 2 guys (Vrbata and Pyatt) keeping their hot sticks going.
Shane Doan needs to find away to not get frustrated with not scoring since that will have an effect on the rest of his game going forward.
If you can't score then put up some assists till the goals start coming off your stick with ease.

Next up Toronto, let's get ready to face Kessel and company.

I missed the entire game due to a final exam. Booooo!

So it sounds like we didn't play nearly as well as we have been lately. Definitely too bad. We needed to have a decent showing against a team like the Wings. Let's get ready for the next game boys!

That + two Bryz softies = 3-2 loss. To get that dominated yet still be in it, is a testament to the Tippett system and the motivation of the players. I'm not too worried unless we start putting together a string of these back-to-back.

This may sound silly, but the last time Bryz got a stars of the week from the NHL he came out and had a bad game, and the same thing just happened again.
Having said that, he has given his all every game and is human.
The third goal was a flukey knuckler. Too bad it was the winner, but all teams get their share of bad breaks.
We're still only 5 points from the top of the conference.

Blech. I really thought we'd get a third in the third period. It wasn't for lack of trying.

Oh well, on to Toronto. You really can't give up a shorty on the road to a good team and expect 2 points, I guess.
