Why the **** did Martin start Halak?? I'm not gonna blame him for the loss, but 4 ****ing goals on 27 ****ing shots with limited ****ing scoring chances is not that great. This wasen't even a back to back situation, if he wanted to start Halak one game this week he could have done it on Wednesday or Thursday...dumb ALF looking Mother ****er.
**** YOU JACQUES!!!
Sorry, i'm a little upset.
It was probably Gainey's decision...a bad one for sure
Penalties: This is getting insanely ridiculous. MaxPac has had a ridiculous numbers of minors in the last 7-8 games (he didn't get one tonight, knock on wood). O'Byrne has been just as bad. Can someone cut off his arms if he can't check a guy without giving a bear hug? Several other players are getting bad retaliation penalties when the team is already spending so much time in the box... It certainly doesn't help with our shot totals...JM really needs to do something extreme right now...
Scoring: A few guys have just got to be putting more in: Gomez, Sergei, Lapierre, MaxPac, D'Ago and if Pyatt would have a goal every 20 games or so, I'd be happy... 2 passers and an energy player on our second line just doesn't work...
Please. Halak didn't cost the game, but he didn't do enough for us to get a point.
And those ****ing penalties. I can't stand getting 6-7-8 PKs a game and only 2-3 PPs. This is ridiculous.
Discipline is a major concern right now, the Habs better wake up and start playing smarter without the puck because they aren't giving themselves any favours. There are ways to get the puck or stop a guy without clutching and grabbing...these players need to have known this since it has been called for years now.
And 0.851 save percentage for Halak isn't attractive in trade either.
Metro, I could forgive him last game, but to do it twice in two game in critical moments is unacceptable. I hope Martin will tell him and O'Byrne what he thinks of them in front of everybody in the lockerroom.
Cammalleri (1G-1A/18G-12A) - Plekanec (0G-2A/6G-18A) - AK46 (2G-1A/8G-11A) = Money. Brings back old memories of the ATAK line. Keep them together for years to come, they'll grow together and become one of the best lines in the East.
Gomez has to be better, period. He's not doing bad, but we count on him to carry a line on his shoulders from time to time. He has yet to do it.
Halak didn't make the important save... That being said, I wonder why Price wasn't starting tonight against one of the hottest teams in the league. Whatever.
Yes, because your big tough & awesome powerforward Guillaume would CLEARLY have won this game for us.
At least if Latendresse isn't scoring, which he does quite frequently, or at least for us, he throws hits.
Hopefully we trade Halak soon, as we need secondary scoring. I guess we kinda get that with Gio back, but a player with size and some hands would be sweet.
Our penalty kill is pretty good, but since players can get away with holding Gill's stick, we're ****ed now.
Andrei is coming around, hopefully. Sergei played well.
At least this time we got a powerplay to tie the game up with more than a second left. So are we first in pk opportunities and last in pp ? We need to dive more. Teach the players to really throw their head back anytime a stick touches them up high.
Halak's rebound control seems very poor as of late. I don't get it.
