Komi's interview on OTR is awful... he giggles and skips the question everytime the guy asks him something about Montreal.

i caught melnik after 310 and he was saying stuff like he wishes him luck, etc.

wasnt there an article at the beginning of the year by tsn or THN making a top 5 worst signings.

they said were crying about how bad the gaborik signing was ( cap wise versus what he brings)

iirc gionta was in there too (in the top 5)

not sure about cammalleri.

these men know their hockey

That list is terrible, how the heck are Conklin and Dannis better signings then Anderson, Molson and Gionta?

Haven't checked any TB games this year but the guy still has 26 points in 32 games playing mostly with bad teammates

What was the thing that Tocchet got in trouble for with Gretzky? Wasn't it sports gambling?

Prospal should be a little higher on the list, the guy has been playing great for the rangers.

He's just a couple of spots below Gill and Mara...

"Mikael Samuelsson, RW (Detroit to Vancouver - Three years, $7.5M)
TSN.ca Player Rating: 73.30
Comment: Has provided some goals, though productivity is tailing off."

He has 22 points in 33 games, he's on pace for his best season of his career

He is well below MAB, but this is quite a cheap analysis/article.

And makes very close to what we pay not only both Gill and Mara, but Bergeron as well.

Saku Koivu, C (Montreal to Anaheim - One year, $3.25M)

This just cracked me up, for some reason.

I don't know if it takes current production into account but of his 27 points, 17 came in October. He's had 10 since with only 1 of those in December. He also hasn't scored in almost a month.

Why yes, I do have Prospal in a fantasy league...how did you guess?

The rankings are mathematical and based off of stats. It's not a matter of subjectivity.

Listen bitter one, you obviously haven't watched him play this year. Outside of the first ten games, he's been excellent. He's a force on the ice every night, and very rarely makes mistakes resulting in a goal. I hope his point total stays really low all year, just so the haters don't understand what's coming their team's way when they play the Leafs. He's easily better than any of your D-men, save Markov (I watch 75% of Habs games- best friend).

Habs fans said he was Markov's lap dog, and yet he's played very well with both Kaberle and Beauchemin. They said he handles the puck like a grenade- yet he rarely ever turns the puck over, defers to his pairing well, and makes countless smart plays with the puck in his own end.

You, and your like, are the the cats that say a girl was ugly, trashy, and worn-out after she leaves you. All because you're hurt. Get some perspective. I know a lot of you thought he was captain material in MTL, just like he IS in T.O.

Love him.

Yeah right guys... Enjoy your 1st round pick... oh wait...
What he brings to a team isn't worth even remotely close to what he's doing right now.
