its a give and take though, if we had greene in the lineup and no vish then all of a sudden our puck movement isn't that great. we'd have staios greene and souray as guys who aren't that great at moving the puck, and smid is still getting better...and how much would smid have improved if he was playing with greene or staois still, instead of vish.

do we need a big shutdown dman...absolutely. i just think vish is a great guy to have on the team. now if only souray would start playing like he cared a little more. he hasn't been terrible but he has not been nearly as effective as he was last year. this year his defense seems to be a bit more shaky. a few guys have been able to walk around him just by head-faking him.

Torres was a bum. Lets not sugarcoat. The guy didn't want to play hockey.

Greene also played lousy his time here. We don't know that he would have ever become the player he is in LA right now.

Fans ragged on Greene because they expected more out of him, kinda how Smid was getting ragged on the last two years and then all of sudden he is a god. Young players need time to develop and I'm pretty sure there were quite a few fans that thought Greene would be the player he is today the pnly problem is no one knew how long it would take.

Brule in a second.
i hated Torres (soul patch). the dude would make some of the worst decisions (soul patch) ever with the puck. blind, facing the boards, backhand passes to the (soul patch) center of thve ice on breakouts. sorry, "trick" shots arent for you, (soul patch) dude.

Brule brings it. id like him as the top line center over Gagner. he brings more guts and flavor. his chemistry with Penner right now is great and hes just more all-around dynamic.

plus he likes Slipknot, which isnt cool, but its a start.
