Nothing confusing about it. It's simply lazy analysis.

The nicest person on the board is burning Wolfy now. LOL.

If our powerplay wasn't so ****tastic, we might've had a chance in this game. Maybe....yeah probably not.

And there's something wrong with that?

You expect everybody to go into an in-depth analysis every time they feel like commenting on the game? Don't take things so seriously.

Sadly, the Pens PP is usually far worse. It's amazing that raw offensive talent means so little to a PP unit. It's all about cohesion and we have none of that right now despite dominating on the PP for the last several years.

Jesus, look around the board and tell me not to take things so seriously? I'm usually Mr. Negativity around here, but it's hilarious how badly people are reacting over this team right now.

It's a pet peeve of mine, same with people yelling "shoot". I'm sure you and every other ******* on this board have pet peeves that I think are dumb, too.

You know things are really bad when you and FlyHigh look positive by comparison to the rest of the Flyers' board.

Win, lose or draw it doesn't matter...Pronger NEEDS to put Jordan Staal right thru the boards. Needs to. He's got such a punk-ass quality about him that it would be hilarious to seem him owned.

Watching NHL net right now. Two things Ive realized.

This team has a long way to go to compete against whomever will be in the finals. The Pens and Wings went to war last year and both teams played out of there minds.

The other thing is that we have to make the playoffs. Watching the playoffs is always such an honor and a beautiful thing. Need to get there and we need to compete.

There's a bunch of...newer fans... who think that hell is freezing over and Carcillo is the only one worth keeping, makes me annoyed, I worked hard to earn my rep as pessimist-in-chief.

Do you think the team can be full (outside of Emery) by Saturday afternoon?

I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

So, by that logic, the first preseason game would result in dozens of injuries by both teams each season.

Additionally, you admitted that it was OKT being a dumbass that did it. He skates every other day in practice or his own workouts. Is the mother****er so dumb that he forgot how to skate from one day to the next?
OKT leads the team in bench press. That's all it takes.

It's not ****ing lazy analysis. It's simply a cliche (not my favorite, you won't see me using it) that people use to describe a player who's not making the positive impact he should. Nothing more, nothing less.

I'm sorry I opened this can of worms.

That's even more hilarious because training regimens change during the season so the players that are actually, ya know, playing can't maintain their bench press strength. Meanwhile, OKT is worthless and can spend all day in the gym. I guarantee that it's the **** players on every team that are physically the strongest when strength is gauged based upon metrics such as that.

You're not alone, I try to stay positive through rough patches. Every now and again everybody's got to let it out. All of these losses and this slide hurts. I don't ever remember having so much optimism entering an NHL Campaign, it was bordering on cockiness. Needless to say, I've been brought down to Earth as I'm sure most of our players have as well. Hopefully Gags, BB and Powe help get us back on track and we can all breathe a little easier.

Also hating on Coburn and would love to see Halak brought in.

Bring Betts Back.

Earlier today you had to bet 1000 to win 100 on the Pens, with this news, you now have to bet 1000 to win 100 on the Flyers. Does this Betts have as many goals as Gretzky? Did they sign him for under 10M?

If he does happen to find your town, don't worry. Just go the nearest lake and lace up a pair of skates. No way he catches you.

Betts is playing tomorrow night. If our status quo is the same when Betts is playing, you can be sure we'll have a high chance of winning.
