So are the problems then pronger & richards? Richards not ready or not leading properly or maybe its pronger trying to lead too much and stepping on toes?
There has to be SOME reason this team is not playing as a team?
If the problems with this team were simple and obvious enough that a fan on the outside of the organization could confidently diagnose them, then they would most likely be fixed by now.
There's probably a lot of smaller things going on.
- Tuning out John Stevens.
- Adjusting to the new coach.
- The addition of some strong personalities to a locker room who's culture appeared to be more laid back.
- Playing with an injured goalie for too long.
All probably decent guesses. And who knows, maybe they're banging each others' wives.

That's truth. Most mods on all the other boards will destroy a non-fan who spends too much time there, no matter the intention.
Actually Devils and Rangers mods I'll give credit to. I remember the Devils board, people were discussing Brodeur, forget the exact topic, and I said I thought that after Brodeur retired, the "system" would have to drastically change, because he's their star player, finding another star goalie like him is practically a one in a million draw, and since they've based themselves around him being in net, there would have to be changes.
A good amount of Devils fans were completely irate, cursing me off the board, but the mods came through and said "You know, he actually has a really good point." and backed me up. Rangers mods have been nice to me too on their boards, especially considering that I live in Devils/Rangers territory and I can (slightly) relate to the teams.
Well I'll be there tonight. I feel slightly better about this game, but maybe it's the Christmas spirit haha. I hope they at least show up, or else I'm coming after them with a pitchfork and fire. And I'm still contemplating it, but I'm seriously thinking about wearing the snuggie to the game. Jumbotron here I come!
