and yet we lost to them... Posted via Mobile Device
I think that was a different team back then. The Kings are play with a whole lot of confidence right now and I think they finally found their identity...thank gawd.
I was very surprised by the outcome of the MIN & COL game.
Nashville looks like they are going to win again, at Columbus. I am shocked, I remember seeing them play in Anaheim and they looked headed for a Top 5 pick, then they came into Staples and won a Saturday afternoon game and have gone from there.
As for Columbus, you gotta figure the Hitchcock watch could be on if they keep struggling.

Ever since that Scuderi incident and seeing their fans be such ****** on here, I've been hoping to see CBus fail miserably. Hopefully they keep heading down the standings.
Who would think a game featuring Garon and Labarbera would be a 1-1 draw after regulation.
... Yeah, LaBarbera made 38 saves and beat Garon in the shootout, which has to be impossible because a few self-proclaimed internet experts spent all day saying he sucked and using cutting-edge burns like LOLbarbera.

Well...no one hated Garon more than me. I still think he was the main reason the Kings collapsed in 05-06.
That said..Labarbera is an awful goaltender, I think he is a bit better than Garon, but I am happy both are no longer a part of this team.
That kinda detracts from your argument that LaBarbera is better, doesn't it?
... I said in the other thread that they're about the same. LaBarbera was better as a King than Garon was, though. This nonsense about how Garon is "twice" the goalie LaBarbera or whatever is just that -- nonsense.

I definitely don't agree with Garon being two times better, but I have a hard time arguing LaBarbera is better.
