It would be great to see him in the NHL with the Habs one day beating the cr%@ out of that 5'9" cheapshot called Domi (remember what he did to Niedermayer).

The problem with Ivanans is that he is not that good a hockey player. He seems like a great guy to have around in Hamilton (especially mentoring young Kostitsyn), but he is a marginal AHL'er at best. I just can't see him contributing much at the NHL level, so I think the search for the Habs' enforcer is still on.

Ivanans should be able to kick some a$$ at the NHL level. He isn't there to score goals but just protect his players and dirtying his nose a little bit.

Ivannas givin more then 2 minutes a game would be a liability at best. Send him out for 3-4 shifts a game for 30 seconds or less and see what crap he stirs up is all he would be good for at the NHL level.

Ivanans doesn't stir crap up. He's not a big hitter either. All he can do is drop the gloves if someone else is willing on the ice. At least Langdon was a decent hockey player.

That is exactly my point, put him out for 20-30 seconds a few shifts here and there and see who he can sucker into a fight.

He doesn't actively look for fights either...

But I'm sure that he knows what his role is and if he wants to make it to the NHL he knows what he needs to do... Fight.

langdon was not a good hockey player. He looked lost on the ice every time he was out there and he was a terrible skater. I really liked the guy but playing the game was not his strong point.

I agree. Langdon is a bad hockey player. Guys like Brashear can play a lot more.

I have not seen Ivannans play a lot but he seems to suck big time. Even worst than Langdon.

But if Ivannans can develop into a Andrew Peter, it's all i ask...
