I like the look of that line. I've never seen Stephens play yet, but from what I've been hearing he'd probably be better on that line than Hinote. I'm all for making the Avs bigger and tougher too.

It's not just about adding size on the 3rd line. Thinking about a 4th line consisting of:

Worrell / Hahl / Hinote

Ooooh, now that's an agitator line

What we have to worry about is: how good is Stephens defensively?

Forget Stephens! It's all about Svatos, baby!

Unfortunatly it will be about the recently signed Wilsie or Aubin, if not Hinote or this outrageous experiment of McAllister as a forward.

Stephens might be better defensively for that line if you are going to put a rookie there. I personally would like to see Svatos get this 20 minutes with Hershey rather than 10 with the Avalanche for at least half a season.
