I'll care less if it gets pushed back than I will if it's a pain in the dick to get there.

Although, if that's the case it probably won't be so bad getting there. At least I wouldn't miss any of the game.

Regardless...Go Flyers!

I think Gagne is one of the best two-way forwards in the entire league. I think a lot of people undervalue Gagne due to injuries and the long absences that sometimes come with them. To say he is average is naive. He is definitely above average. Not saying he is a superstar, but I can't think of any GMs that wouldn't take him in a heartbeat.

God, I'm so tired. It's 10.30am and I haven't slept.
Early game. Meh. I think I'll stay up until after the game?

It's kind of a league wide thing...I think Gagne is a really underrated player. It's because he doesn't throw himself into the spotlight, and I dont blame him. When he's healthy he's always a threat.

Anyway...is there anywhere online that we can go to see what the deal with the game is? And in the unlikelyhood that they do postpone it, do they just let you use the tickets that were for today? My issue us that mine are sitting there waiting for me at willcall :/

The National Weather Service is calling for 8-to-14 inches in the Philadelphia area. I am no meteorologist, but that is a pretty broad range. So that makes it hard to even guess exactly what will happen – it seems like there are a variety of ways this powerful storm will turn.

Know what all this means? Less Rangers fans making the trip down the sloppy (when is it not sloppy?) Jersey Turnpike.

From what I am told, there is very little chance this game will be postponed. Delaying the start time would seem to make even less sense, since it is supposed to continue 3

Both teams are already in town, the Rangers having arrived last night, and there is no let-up in the schedule for these two teams to play it again any time soon.

Today is Dec. 19 and it is only the first meeting between these two Atlantic division rivals. If it were to be postponed, 6 of the Flyers’ 41 second-half games would be against the Blueshirts. That’s absurd.

I popped by to say some of the same. As you went there I'll instead say 10-12 points over the last six of the year. Crisis over and from then on no doubt about your playoff status.

Hope to see Gagne come out of the gates flying. That would do wonders for morale.

according to the flyers on facebook:

"Game status: Currently, the Flyers game against the New York Rangers at 1 pm is scheduled to be played. The Flyers encourage fans attending today's game to leave early and drive safely. We will continue to post updates should anything change."

Code talk for "We don't do refunds."

What do you guys think the main roads will be like? I take 70 to 295, then take the Walt Whitman in.

this game won't be postponed or cancelled. both teams are in town, there isn't that much snow on the ground yet either.

It would have to be a safety issue or so bad that they couldn't plow the parking lots for them to postpone/cancel. The roads are mainly just wet now anyway - and postponing would just make things worse.
