Don't think so, everything I read states he left for the team on Dec. 21st, could be wrong though, hope I am, would love to watch him play tonight, although Belarus team, probably wants him to take in at least 1 exhibition game

I dont think its fair to criticize/praise kost right now.

While we are talking about his play on the ice..... kosty is still trying to get over the inevitable culture shock coming from little belarus to a fairly sized candian suburb.

I can only imagine if I had to move to belarus as a 19 year old in order to advance my career.... let alone, play hockey at one of the toughest levels in the world.

Lets save our breath a bit and have some fun watching him in the world juniors.

plenty of time for Kostitsyn...

What's the rush? No NHL this year + maybe no NHL next year...until there's a salary cap. We'll have plenty of time to see how Kosts improves and he has been. He's doing fine. Remember...he has to adapt to North America (he's only 19) + learn a new language. He should be NHL ready in 2-3 years. Just in time for when NHL returns!!
Same with Chipchura...no rush in his healing + development.
Also..., Milroy has improved. He is starting to show why he was chosen 1st overall.
Higgins is NHL ready, now. So is, Plekanec.
Hainsey has all the talent, but he has to get or look more involved! He definitely needs to hit more, get more implicated in the plays. Souray or Komi have got to start talking to him! Why can't the coach bench him until he starts being more physical?

Crusher20 ....

I don't think Kost is 207 lbs.Maybe the guy who said , He was 207 pounds during the training camp is right but I don't have any link that saying Kost is 207 lbs.

In this one Kost is 194 lbs (seems to me his right weight)

Actually the source you provided says he's 184 lbs... and that's ridiculous. To give you an idea, Perezhogin is said to be 185 lbs on RussianProspects.com, and he's almost as small as Corey Locke. Kostitsyn is definatly somewhere around 200 pounds. But if he's really 184 lbs... then Locke must be 150 lbs.
