Markov and Halak were incredible.

Plekanec had a rough night, but still picked up a couple points.

Spacek is a rock. I don't see how anyone can't love that signing!

Regardless, I'm happy with whichever goalie helps us win.
Let's see Halak do that with 39 shots from an actual good team now. Like say, Pittsburgh or Washington.

NHL and CBC both gave the Islanders 40 shots.

Gomez with a hell of a game again tonight. RIDICULOUS pass.

oh, and Markov.
I like that Gomez is playing strong defensively.
This is the first game that hasn't been at the same time as one of my games in two weeks, but I really noticed Gomez back checking hard and making some strong plays in the defensive zone.
I still see some bad passes coming from him, but I think that's just him trying to force nice plays that aren't there.
It was nice to see him show us some of his playmaking skills on that last goal.

No No No. Don't go there

I'm a Price fan, but give halak his due. Very solid performance and some very nice saves. The D was okay, but frankly he was better

Meanwhile, why does this have to devolve into a Price vs halak thing EVERY time one guy does well?

Nice job Halak. Very nicely done

Price was crucified by the fans. On the 3rd season he rose again to judge whether the habs will make the playoffs, or miss.

I know it's just 3-4 posters being ridiculous, but still. It's funny.
They expect them to come and "respect" the fans and team.

How lol is that? This is hockey, not a ****ing opera...we will cheer as we please, and if they don't like it, they should get their 1500 fans there to start something.

Gomez did play solid tonight, probably my #4 star behind Halak, Markov, and Spacek.

I thought the 2nd line played the best game in a long time. D'Agostini won some battles and drew a penalty, Gomez made some nice passes and played good D, and Sergei was pretty decent in every aspect.

Really glad to see Markov although i will be honest and say every time he got hit or fell to the ice, i held my breathe until he got back up.

Halak was great. Probably 5 huge saves.

Defensively the team was putrid in the first but played better as the game went on.

The team is still very offensively challenged. The top line was for most part completely ineffective. Plekanec worst game of the year. Akost played decent. Cammy pretty quiet.

5 on 5 they generated absolutely yet again. Very little sustained pressure, unable to create speed through the neutral zone, and won ZERO puck battles in the offensive zone.

Glad they won, great job by Halak and special teams but things need to get much much better still.

Should of known this was coming.. Everytime Halak wins a game its because of the team not giving up any chances.

Nope, they'll wet their Price pyjamies then.

The fanboyism is sickening, the guy plays a perfect game and gets bashed. rofl.
