In all seriousness, until I read "America's Game" I didn't know Lombardi was the OC and Tom Landry the DC for the New York Giants at the same time. No wonder they won titles.

Cris Carter's son, Duron Carter ruled out for the Rose bowl game... speculating grades as the reason.

Short of Notre Dame or Missouri (both of which won't happen), they'd be the best option.

I'd love to see Cincinnati here (if only to see how OSU would manage to block that) I also wouldn't see OU or another MAC team picked up. (again, fat chance) No Syracuse or Rutgers though.

Agree, Syracuse?? Who threw that one in? Tressel for a layup?

Any chance WV gets a look?

I'd say OU or BG based purely on the football programs but the institutions themselves dont measure up quite yet to the academics of places like NW, Michigan, Purdue, etc. Also the fan support is lacking (although I'm sure thatd change if one of them was in the Big Ten)

My vote is for Cincy just to steal some thunder from OSU. Really dont want Pitt but that looks like the best chance lately. Missouri would be cool too.

Well, all his dad did was catch touchdowns. I guess all Duron does is skip class.

Looking at Duron Carter's Twitter account, I am going to guess he failed English.

The NFLPA has announced it will cover any fine incurred by Chad Ochocinco for wearing Chris Henry's #15 jersey on Sunday vs. the Chargers.

BG's academics are ****, I can say this with firsthand experience

Though just like many other institutions in this country, this probably wouldn't be the case if they didn't have to flip the bill for maintaining a money pit east of campus (i.e. the football team).

Yeah, he's gonna be awesome for whoever he's playing for next year after he demands a trade and refuses to report this off-season because he wants an extension/pay raise despite signing a 6yr deal 3 years ago.

Too bad he's right. Academics at BG are ****, generally.

Athletically they don't belong anywhere near the big ten. Dear God, imagine the mens basketball team in the big ten. I doubt they'd win a league game for at least 3 years. The football team would be more successful, but not by much, although they are heading in the right direction since they dumped Brandon.

Forget OU and BG if the big ten wants to add a twelfth team Pitt is the way to go (since ND is too busy ******* themselves to NBC) with Mizzou second and WVU a distant third.

I meant it as a hypothetical IF any Ohio MAC team was ever considered. Oh and BG almost knocked off OSU last year in basketball. Wasnt saying there is a chance though. I'm not that clueless.

I will never going to admit that their academics are **** though. There's a lot of good programs and some great professors. Its definitely not the best in the state but to exaggerate like that is just untrue.

Two in a row... the Browns are better than the Jackets. The big game is in San Jeago; 14-13 Chargers for now. Carson Palmer will not be denied.

Never thought I'd see that this year and have it be true at the same time, but it is.

I have Rivers and Kaeding on my fantasy team so that final FG was HUGE to seal the win for the week but man you gotta feel for the Bengals. An absolute heart breaker after the terrible week they have had.
