If they don't win 3 of the next 5 games, I'll officially concede the season. Florida, Tampa, Carolina, and the Islanders are all teams they shouldn't have a problem beating.

Flyers suck. I'm done being positive until this team shows me otherwise.

I defended Boucher on Richards' facebook earlier this season (I've gotten into a routine now that whenever they lose I check it a few hours later to see if the fans start to light him up). Someone said Boucher has played like ass. Why do some people automatically assume that every goal given up is the goalies fault? 95% of goals given up could be stopped by proper defense (of which lately, seems to be one of many big issues with this team). I'm not the only one that has noticed that Boucher has played stellar, especially in comparison to the rest of the team. If the rest of the team gave him the support (both offensively and defensively) he deserves for his latest play, I have no doubt this team would be pushing for the division lead.

Good call. I don't care how good your goalie is, if your team can barely manage to score a single goal, you're not going to win many games.

The Flyers are going to have to match or exceed the Panthers' energy level (which is not going to be easy - they're playing well, and Horton has been on fire) and play smart.

I hope for the best. I expect nothing.

LET'S GO FLYERS!!

He's 2-4-1 in his last 7 starts, and 5 of those games he walked away with a >0.917 Save % and 2 or less goals against. What more can we ask from Boucher?

Agreed - Boucher gives the Flyers a chance to win every game, and that is all you can ask for out of your goalie - especially a backup.

Going into the season, if someone said Emery was going to be out for a while, and Boucher was going to put up that save percentage and GAA, we'd all be thinking the Flyers were on an extended win streak.

Hopefully Briere will play with Gagne and Richards..

They used to be PPG line and PPG players when played on the same line.

Hartnell Carter Someone else.. Maybe Giroux or JVR.

I was really happy when they picked up Boucher. I saw how well he played in SJ last year and knew he could really pull out some solid goaltending when needed. But, like I said before, the reason he did so well was not just him, it was also the team in front of him to support him.

Boucher has given us a chance to win most games, but his goals against have been soft at times

I Apologize for my bad English... I'm frenchy so sorry...

I think Boucher was'nt bad but was'nt amazing just like Marc-André Fleury did last Thursday or Lunvquist Saturday. Just imagine if Boucher made the big save against Christ Drury when his team going nowhere and keep this game 0-0.

But I'm agree with you, Brian Boucher deserve this win Saturday and againts Pittsgurgh too.

When our goalie will steal a game by himself just like the oponent does to mutch against us ?? Maybe Emery could be that guy but for now is not there.

I agree that it would be nice for a goalie to steal a game the way Fleury has. But the bigger problem right now is that the rest of the team can't seem to score. Lots of chances, but they just can't finish.

So.... what are the odds Richards is a marked man tonight? And will it wake the rest of them up, and him, if he is?

At this point I would try just about anything.. Briere and Carter did not produce a lot of goals lately.

Blaming boucher when the offense is scoring 1 maybe 2 goals a game is ludicrous. Oh thats right, if we had a great goalie, we'd win those games 1-0.

Duco was called up, I expect him to challenge Richards. Richards of course will back down.
