Even the watered down 2000's version of Leetch blows away any other contenders.

What a decade on the blueline.

Leetch. Add Del Zotto. Even for one year, I like him more than 90% of those other guys.

Ya after Leetch it gets pretty damn depressing... REAL FAST. Add Del-Zotto plz. After Leetch-Staal get on the board, Del-Zotto/Girardi/Tyutin are all gonna be going off quick.

I'm sorry, but i can't even fathom why someone would vote for Staal.

I'd love to hear this argument.

I also think DelZotto has a better chance of making the top 6 then half of the guys on there.

No Ozolinsh?!

It's true. And at a great price may I add (for those years in his old contract )... HOWEVER, past season + a 1/2 he's been below average for whatever reason. Still, I do believe theres a STRONG case for Rosi over Staal if we take into account the quality of play over the course of the many years here.

Yeah I gotta agree - I'll probably be voting Rozi over Staal. Rozi put in some solid years. Besides, I'm sure Staal will be on next decade's team... right?

what a motley bunch of players. Gotta go with Leetch, although the Leetch of the 00s was not the Leetch most of us best remember.

Who misses Kaspar's type on the blueline? No offense, but that's the issue with many opinions, at least to me. People take a name. The name has a style attached to it, and then the work is done, forgetting how bad this player was as a Ranger and in reality he was a player who lost many steps and ultimately he was rightfully demoted to the AHL. His signature hipcheck was gone. He was oft-injured. The Rangers do not need that type of player on the blueline. Sure, the Kaspar of the 90s is a player the Rangers could use on the blueline; not of the 00s.
