I agree. He's gotta be injured.

On a sidenote, I hope Richards does fight him and drops him, might spark the team little bit, maybe.
No i hope Carcillo destroys him... Richards doesn't need to fight unless its absolutely necessary.

I wonder how much ice time Richards will end up wasting tonight.

Let someone else fight Duco; Richards in the box for 5 for fighting some scrub is a minor victory for them.
Just took a trip over to their thread. One thing to wish your team would get vengeance with a fight or something, and another to wish the same head shot on the opposing team. People call us classy, but I think that's the first time on this board I've actually seen someone legitimately want another player to get hurt. I applaud their tastefulness.

Or how many unrealistic passes/moves he'll try to make.

The Boston GDT threads may not be so bad now that Jones is gone, but they were doozies. Wishing for career-threatening injuries to Flyers, life-threatening injuries to Flyers, and the like.

I understand Florida fans being pissed at Richards for the hit on Booth. While it is "legal" under the current rules, I don't think it should be. And this franchise more than most knows how concussions can affect the team and star players.

Wishing major injury is taking it too far though. My hope is that Booth returns to the game soon, and with no lingering effects.

It is laughable,
Zero understanding of hockey and you wonder why hockey won't take off with those types of fans. I hope Richards dies, I hope we kill them, Panthers don't worry about winning, kill them all !!!!!

Yeah I think the Jones hit was before or right as I joined on here, and before I had the balls to venture off this board hahah.
I agree and wish they would just do away with head shots. I'm sure we'd all be pissed too. But as I said, it's one thing to hope for some sort of retribution, but you're just being a doucher to wish injury on somebody.

Except nobody said that...LOL

And we definitely don't understand hockey. I mean, how could we? Some of us live in Florida so there is no way we would understand hockey like you. Your knowledge is clearly supreme! ROFL

Sorry , stretchers, career ending blah blah blah, Insignificant scrub is going to destroy him, I hope 3 guys fight him at once. You have a thread on the Main board already. If you have watched hockey, retribution almost never happens anymore. Players are more interested in winning than doing something stupid to please 30 online kids. If the Cats called up 2 scrubs to start something, The Flyers will get a huge PP, if they do something stupid, the player will face suspension and the team a hefty fine. Paybacks do not happen anymore.

I just read that Legein played with Giroux before in juniors and would want to play with him again. Imagine if he could take his AHL work and put it into NHL form with someone like Giroux centering him. I know this doesn't really pertain to the game, even though I have a good feeling they will take the good shots they had against Henrik and get them through Vokoun. I just had to mention it because there was an article on the Flyers site about Legein. Imagine a JVR-Giroux-Legein line. Scary and fast. Maybe next season?

Keep the posts civil. Don't attack each other.

And for outsiders, this is the Flyers' forum. If you aren't familiar with the rules of HF, there are limitations to what can be posted in another team's forum. Follow the site rules.

You are clearly exaggerating where everyone stands and pretty much making stuff up. The general consensus is that we want a W more than anything else. Mac and Duco add toughness to our lineup which is pretty soft which makes sense against a Flyers team that has Carcillo, Asham, Lap, Cote, and Pronger. This isn't about retribution its about making our team tougher and matching up better with the Flyers.

As a Panther fan, I have no trouble recognizing a losing team.
