Getting healthy...

The Kings are loading up their guns in this 8 day break.

Simmonds back this fast is amazing - even with a minor tear. He, Dr. Kerlan, and the training staff are to be commended. Awesome job everyone.

Smyth, Segal, Simmonds, and Johnson all okay to practice. Jones is still out though ... Hope he makes it back soon too.

Go Kings!

Stoll is still out too, unfortunately. Hopefully he can get back later in this break.

Harrold on the 4th line! Why...Please just call up Elkins...this guy is not a 4th line forward.

good to see Fro back with Handzus, he plays better in a stopper role.

Yes, large oversight on my part. Thanks for pointing that out.

We do need him for faceoffs... That Calgary game is different with Stoll taking that faceoff at the end of the first period, imo.

Go Kings!

Manchester has tons of injuries, all those guys like Parse and Moller are down there for a reason.

You don't sacrafice your NHL team because Manchester is having injury problems. Send Harrold down to help for christs sake.

Manchester doesn't play again until the 26th either, so I don't know why they would be keeping Parse et al down there unless they planned on keeping them down there.

Harrold is on a one-way contract, and as we all can see......there is a full roster participating, Moller/Parse/Elkins are more important to the team than Harrold and Segal that is why they were down there to play in GAMES, not just practice...... Atleast Parse will be recalled soon, and if Simmonds is out, one or both of Elkins/Moller will also be called back up.

Salary reasons. I assume those guys are on two-way contracts, so they only make a fraction of their NHL salaries while in Manchester. For those eight days, they'll basically be "working" (earning contractual money) at 10% of the rate they'd be earning money here. It'll save the team several thousand dollars in salary to put those guys in Manchester for the break.

As Dan Patrick used to say, "en fuego".

I'm excited to see Simmonds back skating but I really hope they're not rushing it.

Knee injuries are unpredictable, just like ankle injuries. Don't rush yourself Wayne.
