Markov has played 3 games. I think we have 6 PPGs in those 3 games.

True but what does saying Kovalchuk doesn't deserve 11 million mean gomez doesn't deserve 7.137 million? Why bring Gomez in a discussion he has no stake in.

Looked like he banged his shoulder into the post, I doubt it has anything to do with that. Martin is probably blowing a fuse at the players for a horrible effort.

Gotta have faith in the system. Props to Halak, the first line and Bergilicious.

Seriously the team as a whole was horrible. Unless Martin does a complete 180 on how he coaches the team, we are going to continue to see more nights like tonight.

MAB from watching it over and over it looks to be a arm injury caused by his arm going in the net Hedberg's leg holding it there and MAB's body kept going . you could see his arm bend ,and it didn't look good.
shoulder or elbow is my guess

My sources tell me that MAB's arm was completly severed but still held because it was stuck against the Canon he has in his body

Halak is playing well and deserves the next start no doubt about it,but let's not forget how great Price was playing and even against the Devils and Wild played pretty strong for us,we couldn't score

Gomez.
I love Plekanec.

But this career season looks like the one that got Gomez is ridiculous contract.

just saying that if we can give gomez that contract, might as well give it to someone like kovalchuk

btw, i think kovalchuk will get paid 11m, but will have a lower cap hit with these "cheat contracts", im most definitly sure of it, prob a cap hit around 7-9 million

Marleau is also a UFA,I believe something will get worked out with Plekanec around 4.75 for 5-6 years,I hope anyways

I don't want to sound negative, but should MAB be injured...

Who plays RD on the PP?

Spacek IMO misses the net far too often...

I think an interesting option my be Cammalleri whom we all know has a great one-timer.. Is there any other option?

It wasn't just one bad game. He's given up too many putrid goals lately: the first one against Minny was beyond awful, New Jersey (need I say more), and the winning goal against Pittsburgh.

At least the goals Halak gives up aren't of the ridiculously embarrassing variety. We need wins and Halak is delivering wins right now. There's no reason to pull him for Price.

pretty amazing, he scores an amazing Ot goal and gets hurt in the process and ALMOST gets his goal disallowed, what a weird play that was ****

from all the replays ive watched

i thought he sprained his ankle hitting hedbergs pads but the more obvious conclusion definately has to be his arm pit running into the post, hope its not too bad...god damn..
