I would love to see his face when he realized that Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin were coming towards him with the puck and four of Washington's five players on the ice were behind the other team's net. The lone guy back on defense is Tom Poti or John Erskine, so that basically equates to having a streetlamp in front of him. He'd come back yelling Marc-Eduard Vlasic's name in every language possible.
The Sharks should have enough salary space to sign 2 of the 3 top UFAs on their team next season, so either Marleau, Nabokov, or Setoguchi might have to go, and out of those 3, Setoguchi is the most likely to not be resigned. Nabokov is at the point in his career where he isn't going to get a significant raise in salary from us at all, let alone from another team.
Atlanta, they seem to building a Russian conglomerate over there.
I know hes been on the west coast for a long time now but for some reason I dont know the hes as concerned with where he plays as he is with how much he plays/how wanted he is by the team.
Nabby met his wife when he playing in Kentucky. East coast teams, especially some place like Nashville, Atlanta, or Carolina, would actually be much closer to the wife's family, and it would reduce the amount of travel he does.
Recall that Nabby shut out the Penguins albeit without Maulkin this season...
I agree that he should not have called out Pickles, however it was kind of refreshing to point out something specific. He also came back to clarify that he did not mean the whole thing was Pickles' fault, just that he ought to have blocked the shot, which probably could have been blocked.
