He said Halak need to work on his rebound and he is right.
So, that could possibly mean Wednesday or Saturday.
If Pouliot-Hammer-Gionta can all be back on Wednesday, it'll be a great X-Mas gift.
Didn't Brunet say (I know I know) tonight that Gomez was missing Gionta...He then said "He'll have to wait a bit because apparently Gionta isn't coming back until mid-january". Maybe I totally misunderstood that. I barely understand french when Brunet speaks it anyways.

You shouldn't listen to Brunet, EVER.
Gionta was set to be out for 4-6weeks. He got injured on the 19th. Mid-January would make it an 8 week injury.
But I don't think Gionta would be traveling and practicing with the team if he was still 3 weeks away.
Markov didn't take 3weeks to practice with the team and that was after a bigger injury than Gionta's.

We got outplayed badly and Halak was not that good tonight. He always look like his gear his too heavy for him.
Bergeron's 2nd goal was very nice.
When your let 50 shots on your goalie and you can still win, the goalie bailed you out. For sure on some shot he was lucky etc. but it's normal when you get 50 freaking shot. Some goalies (detroit) gets almost never over 30 shots and that the second time i think we let 50 shots in a game this season.

but what if 20 of those shots were his fault because he let out bad rebounds ? I'm not saying halak had a bad game just that he didn't have a great one . every shot that hit him seemed to bounce right back to a thrasher stick ,and I think he needs to get that fixed because a better team would of scored way more off those rebounds.
