What we really need to do is shoot to score goals. Rather than the shooting to hit logos.

I like it. Nirvana, the Grateful Dead and the Flyers are referenced in the title. Awesome.

He really did die at the perfect time. Imagine if he were still alive, everyone would be talking about what a screwup he is.
I don't wish death on anyone obviously, but as far as his career went, Cobain picked a pretty solid time to go.

In addition, he was able to escape Courtney Love.

Yea, but all it did was line Courtney Love's pockets. And she's an unbearable stupid *****.

I have to agree with Valhoun here, even if she benefits from it, killing yourself is probably better than dealing with the embarrassment of being married to Courtney Love.

Great title MSE!
Jim, Jimi, and Janis. Doesn't get much better than that.

Well, Robert Johnson could be on there. Preferably in place of Cobain.

Didnt realize there were that many Cobain haters. He kinda is responsible for alternative and all that crap it turned into. (like on the music thread)

That's a stretch and I like Nirvana. But the alternative scene was driven by bands that were much earlier. Most genres of music started well before what most people assume and alternative/grunge is no different.
Robert Johnson dieing hurt music a lot more than Cobain.

Jim Morrison is seriously the ****ing MAN though.
I hold him in higher regard than Hendrix. He was a crazy ****ing guy, and it was amazing.

Very fitting; it's a nice list of puffed-up rockstars, much like our team.
I've got nothing against Hendrix, however.

Layne Staley's "Dead and Bloated" is much more visceral than STP's.
What... too soon?

The Alice in Chains Unplugged is one of the best things I've ever listened to and seen. I just love how you can feel Staley's emotion in the lyrics and his singing
