Smithson not returning... our penalty kill is going to have to step up big. Vancouver has the momentum right now.

We were lucky to get out of that first period unscathed. Both teams had a lot of chances and neither was able to take advantage of them, but I thought Vancouver got too many scoring chances overall. Ellis played about as well as anyone could ask for.

Yeah, that was a bummer.

Thank you Ellis! Good job.

ahhh, I thought the other way. The pass put it sully vs luongo. I thought the last pass was the waste. Not a very good period anyways.

Wow, what set that off?

At least it wasn't someone like O'Brien... that trade is acceptable.

Ya Kesler was overmatched there. Not that smart to fight Weber.

Defensive breakdown in the middle of a line change. Impeccable timing.

Great pass, Sully. Too bad Bernier was offside when he got it.

Vancouver is dominating on the forecheck and our top line is afraid to go up the middle with the puck.

I thought he played it fine, Suter left the slot and we didn't have anybody behind him to cover Bernier because Arnott and Erat were up ice and Sullivan was at the half boards. I'll have to watch it again, though.

I hope Bouillon is okay. We need him healthy.

Legwand "go out with the boys" or something while on the road? Most ice time on the team and all goose eggs on the scoresheet. Including 0-7 on faceoffs.

At least he's a 0 on the plus minus.

GET THE LEAD OUT PREDATORS!

We can't crack Vancouver's forecheck. They're playing like they really want two points tonight, and they deserve it.

Trotz said we weren't winning any one on one battles. He's right, we can't even win vs the puck. We keep trying to stick handle around the checks at the blue line and we make the zone only to see the puck squirt away.

He left Bernier to go at Wellwood who was already covered by Sullivan. Bernier just snuck away and went to the front of the net.
You're right though, hope he comes back. They need more guys to stop the shooting gallery.

That's how you score on a power play. Henrik finds Daniel in the seam and buries it.

One goal is all it takes, come on, guys!

Top line can't hit the broad side of a barn. Spaling-Goc-Ward has been our best unit.

I like the line of Legwand, Hornqvist, Dumont when we need goals. Hoepfully Trotz stays with it.

Hamhuis was having a decent game, then he had to go and leave Hansen all alone in front. Ellis didn't have a prayer.

We're beaten now. They're going to stop hustling, show no urgency, and just generally suck.
